Everything you need plus so much more
I far underestimated how well equipped this house is. You are provided with all the condiments, kitchen appliances, tea / coffee, cleaning supplies and body washes that you always wish a Hotel would provide for you. While our weekend stay was damp, my three year olds spirits were not as she was kept ever so busy with the included kids kitchen, lego set. games and ride on tractors. We fed the cows and collected eggs every day and explored the dam. We managed to get in one bon fire and the spa was absolutely spectacular. There is never not something to do here and we would come back again in a heartbeat . Thank you to Marg and Steve for being great caretakers during our stay. My three year old now wants to be a farmer.

Incredible Farm Stay
We had the most amazing time at The Vale. From the most stunning views, relaxing in the spa and watching the sunset, to feeding the chickens and collecting farm fresh eggs for breakfast each morning. Our 4 kids never had a dull moment, this stay suited our family of 6 & 2 dogs very well. Everyone had an absolute ball, we’ll definitely be returning in the near future. Elizabeth was a fantastic host and greeted us upon arrival, so we definitely felt comfortable and at home for our 3 night stay. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

A Delightful Escape to Tranquil Bliss

Farmstay Getaway Paradise!
We had an amazing stay at The Vale Farmstay. The property is immaculately situated, furnished and cared for. The owners and caretakers were kind and considerate. The amenities, overall peace and resulting relaxation were just perfect. With multiple adults, a baby and two dogs, there was plenty of room both within the house and outside, plenty of activities and pristine areas to explore keeping us all happy and as busy as we wanted. This is most definitely somewhere we would stay again and want to extend our warmest thanks to the property hosts for having us enjoy our time there ❤️.

Beautiful Family Farm stay
We had the most wonderful experience at Elizabeth’s beautiful farm property. The house itself is very lovely and was clean and had everything we needed. The outside was just stunning and if it hadn’t rained, we would’ve been outside every minute. Our children had a ball feeding the cows and visiting the chickens each morning. We will definitely be back and are already thinking about our next stay. Thank you for having us xx

Paradise!
Exceptional from the moment we booked this beautiful property. Elizabeth, the host, is such a lovely person and was wonderful to talk to and our kids loved her. There are no words to describe the beauty of her farm (whatever the weather it is so private and the outlook so picturesque) and the farmhouse is wonderful and so well stocked, you feel right at home. Instantly felt relaxed and like we had entered our own paradise. We really appreciated all the nice touches that made our stay extra special. Kids will miss the little calves and chicks. Tranquil and lovely

The grown ups and the toddlers loved it!
We went for a weekend getaway of 3 couples each with a 2-year old. The place had everything we needed, and the kids enjoyed being free range on the expansive lawn around the house, and loved seeing the chickens, ducks and cows (with calves!).

No words to describe how amazing this property is
Well, where to start... 8 of us + 2 kids stayed there for my wife's 50th birthday and it was the most amazing farmstay experience in our lives. From the the kitchen is amazing, with extra disposable containers to take the food away, to the amazing pizza oven with the all the wood ready to go (even news paper ready to just light it up), is just fenomenal, but nothing really bits the sunset while at the super hot spa. We were all in awe with everytyhing. Thank you Margaret to making to facilitanting the booking, comms, etc.. and Jen for making it all spotless, preparing the wood, replace the spa water before our arrival etc... Could not rate it high enough! Diego

Gorgeous Luxury Retreat
My family and I (8 adults and two kids) loved every minute of our stay at The Vale. Elizabeth is an outstanding, informative host and made us feel so welcome. We really appreciated her excellent communication both prior to and during our stay. The property is magnificent - spacious, exceptionally clean and set in a truly spectacular location. The house is beautifully appointed and everything has been thought of to make staying there a delight. This place is more amazing in person so beautiful even with the rain there was still so much too do.
We had the most beautiful experience such a beautiful home, already planning on re booking. I was worried with the rain but it was even more beautiful there was lots to do for the kids collecting the chicken eggs table tennis, board games,football,kids kitchen, swing , fairy garden such a magical location. We enjoyed our time relaxing in the spa at night while the kids slept. Can’t wait to book our next trip :)

Absolutely Stunning
A hidden gem in the Byron Hinterlands. Very well managed. Byron Bay is easily accessible. Approach can be a bit tricky after sunset, just follow the coordinates on google maps and you should be fine. Elizabeth is an excellent host. Highly recommended.

Great family holiday
Stayed here with my spouse, 2 children (11 & 14) and my Dad. Plenty of room for all. Lots to do on site and around but also great place just to relax, especially star gazing from the spa! Elizabeth and Ness made us feel very welcome

Lovely break for city folk
This was a long overview catch up with friends from country NSW, Sydney and GC and this was a great find. Elizabeth was a proactive and reactive host and her hone was lovely. As it is is a home and not a pure holiday let you can feel the love in the property. The cows, outdoor bath, sounds of chickens and beautiful pizza oven were a lovely change and surprise from the friends visiting from Sydney.

Gorgeous Property
We recently took a break with our little family and friends at this beautiful property, it was the perfect spot to wind down and let the kids roam free (safely). Our host Elizabeth couldn't have been more accomodating to our two families. Getting in touch well before our stay to confirm sleeping arrangements for our littlest kids. We couldn't believe how equipped the house was, beautiful linen, comfy beds and a kitchen that was well equipped. There are plenty of board games and toys setup in one of the bedrooms. With 4 kids under 7 they had an absolute ball outside, visiting the chickens and feeding the cows. They loved exploring the creek and watching the geese at the dam.The farm staff were friendly and happy to get the kids involved. There isn't a spot in the house that doesn't open up to the beautiful view outside. The spa was a real hit with the kids and the adults. Perfect spot for an afternoon sunset. Once dried off it was time for a wine and marshmallows around the open fire pit. A truly relaxing holiday, there is really no need to leave the farm if you want some real time to unwind. We all left with our hearts filled and our souls relaxed, even the kids. A perfect winter break.

Fantastic farm stay! We had great time thanks to lovely hostess Elizabeth.
Beautiful sunset, amazing night sky with milk way. The fully operational farm kept us busy, feeding cows and calves, picking up eggs, making bonfire and trying real pizza oven outdoors. We all love the Vale. Elizabeth is the best hostess we have ever had, with lovely personality, artistic taste and visionary plan. Highly recommend to anyone wants to escape from hassle and noise.

Middle Pocket Paradise
I cannot recommend The Vale highly enough. Elizabeth and Abram went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, nothing was too much trouble. The house and surrounding property was everything we expected and more. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful, there was more than enough space to accommodate our party of 9. Surpassing expectations
Impressed by the description, photos and location when booking the Vale, our visit surpassed expectations. We had an incredible stay with 3 couples, appreciating the attention to detail and wanting for nothing. Highly recommend an escape to the Vale. Exceptional home and guest experience
This home was absolutely spectacular but even more so was the wonderful hospitality of Elizabeth and Abraham. There were so many thoughtful details and kindnesses during our stay at this beautiful property; I can’t recommend it highly enough. The property is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the home is so comfortable and set up for everything you could want to do. We barely left the property for a whole week. The farm is a working one which is a delight to be a part of in small ways if you are inclined, and the service is impeccable. There is just the right amount of privacy, but the owners are always on hand to help you with anything you might need if you need a hand. Thank you Elizabeth for the most magical stay. Luxury Farm Stay
Girls week end at the house, the property was amazing, the house beautiful, it had everything, all you need is food and clothes It was fun going on morning walks, then collecting the chicken eggs, great selection of herbs in the garden. Outdoor spa was used everyday. We will be back next year for sure.

Perfection
Our stay at the Vale was wonderful. The beautiful home had everything we needed. Quality fittings, gorgeous decor, interesting antiques, books and games throughout the spacious home. Incredible place, amazing holiday
Everything lived up to and exceeded expectations, from before we got there with the booking process, to a lovely reception and tour from Elizabeth when we arrived. Andrew and Miriam onsite were lovely, discrete and helpful with some nice chats about the garden & plants and tips on places to go & things to do. The property was properly amazing, nothing about the house & furnishings was less than perfect, tasteful, beautiful and it had absolutely everything - and I particularly loved using all the kitchen/cooking facilities and preparing family dinners outdoors on the deck. The location is stunning and I felt a real return to myself just being in such a peaceful location. On top of this, the spa, the boats, the space to play was perfect for the three kids (ages 14, 12, 9), kicking a ball around, playing badminton, feeding grass to the cows & the beautiful calves, we even managed to play boardgames (no mean feat if you note the ages of the kids). It is a great place and location for a family wanting to spend some quiet, quality family time together and reconnect. We stayed just over a week and did a lot in and around the area too, and found it a great base to go exploring the delights of the region, but we could have been just as happy staying onsite for the entire time enjoying the numerous facilities onsite. Lastly, it was pet friendly which was just brilliant - even the dog was sad to leave. We cannot say enough nice things about the Vale, it had something for everyone in my household and I am already being asked when we can go back.

A breathe of fresh air!
This is the perfect place to take family or friends and enjoy a break from the world. A gorgeous home in an idyllic setting ... kids and adults alike enjoyed the space, the walks, the games and down time. Elizabeth has thought of everything From jacuzzi to pizza oven which we used both nights. Wood was supplied although we couldn’t find a rolling pin for the bases 😂 Beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed swimming in the creek, going for walks and flying our drone. We had planned to go into Byron but were having such a nice time playing rugby and cricket we didn’t move! Boys loved rowing and washed the boat and built a base camp in the bushes while our dog Loved swimming and being free. The dog proof fencing was appreciated! We look forward to visiting again. Thanks to the lovely Managers on site who were very friendly and not intrusive. See you again The Vale!

Great property for a relaxing getaway.
Stayed for a long weekend with some family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time away. Elizabeth was on point with all communication and made the booking, check in and check out process a breeze. Miriam and Andrew who were the caretakers were very helpful and were happy to assist us with anything extra we needed. The pizza oven and fire pit were used extensively and the property is extremely well kept and has more than everything required to further enjoy your stay. Luxurious and perfect for families
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away at this beautiful home. Elizabeth went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved the beautiful linen, fully stocked kitchen and the fire pit and pizza oven was a big hit with the kids. We also collected a few eggs and had them for breakfast! Our stay at The Vale was fabulous indeed! Long lingering nights around the fire pit with a cold beer and a sassy red. Plenty to explore around the farm, and even the cows seem relaxed !!. Accommodation and facilities are first class and the outdoor bathroom is a hoot! The beautiful Ocean Shores beach [and Golf Club] is only 10 minutes away also. We loved it, and we'll be back. Fabulous family getaway
Perfect place for a family getaway all our needs were catered for close to the beach and other points of interest. Beautiful house and surrounding grounds lovely caretakers who were on hand to answer any questions without being intrusive fabulous week

Amazing family holiday destination
We stayed for just over a week at the Vale with our 3 young children and absolutely loved it. The location itself is perfect for day trips to Byron and the surroundings and then remote enough to have the much needed peace and quiet. Our children loved the farm animals and the variety of toys and games available. Communication with Elizabeth along the way was extremely good and helpful and ensured we had a great stay. For the adults, the BBQ, fire pit and pizza oven were fantastic additions to allow for some unique ways to prepare a meal as well as just having a bit of fun. We'll definitely come back...
