«What a lovely art deco maintained hotel! All fitted out in appropriate style. We didn't eat there, but the food smelled terrific when we arrived in the late evening. Very friendly staff and a most comfortable room. Loved the residents' sitting/dining room upstairs.»

«Beautiful retreat right in the heart of Hunter Valley. Modern and thought out room with all the amenities you need. Loved the views of the hills and lake, with the bonus of seeing a couple of wild kangaroos early in morning outside of the cabin! The breakfast provisions are a nice touch, as is the complimentary shuttle to Bimbadgen. Would really recommend the latter for their sunset sessions.»

«Great hotel in beautiful surroundings! Wish we could be informed before check in that it was possible to drive the car down to the villa before we unloaded all luggage and parked the car at the lot far away, but otherwise a great hotel! Would stay again! »

«Absolutely beautiful location, 5 minutes outside Dorrigo. A very nice, bright, spacious and clean room with a sliding door overlooking a deer enclosure and the scenic mountains. Gabby the operator was lovely, warm and welcoming. Highly, highly recommended!»

«The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed.»
