3 Houses @ Sunset Ranch

This listing combines all 3 houses at Sunset Ranch - The Ranch house with 5 bedrooms, the Log House with 2 bedrooms and the Cabin (studio style) with 2 full size beds. All houses are behind an electric gate to ensure your privacy and safety during your stay. For an easier way to view each house separately, please visit the three individual houses on the prior page.

The Log house and the Cabin are side by side and the Ranch house is about a 1/3 mile away on the same driveway.
The space
The houses, largest to smallest:
1. Ranch house - The first house inside our electric gate is the Ranch house, which has an amazing view of Medina Lake Dam from the back patio! This house features 5 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 living areas. Plenty of room for the entire family or share it with another family! Plenty of parking and yard to play in!

You will enter the Ranch house via a code on the side door lock into the game room. The game room has a smart TV plus a sleeper sofa and a 2 chairs. This TV has a Xbox 360, so bring your games! We also have a shuffle board and 14 in 1 game table along with board games and books to entertain everyone!
The game room also leads to 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) and a full bathroom.

Down the hallway you will pass by a full laundry room (please bring your own supplies) and into the kitchen/dining/living area.

The kitchen is an open layout and is open to the family room. We have 6 high bar stools and a table that seats 6+ chairs. Our kitchen is stocked with an electric oven/stove, side by side fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes etc. We have a full size coffee maker and a Keurig machine, please bring your favorite coffee supplies. In the closet you will find an Instapot, blender, mixer, and a tea kettle. Our kitchen sink features a reverse osmosis filter! The kitchen also has a dishwasher and dish soap. Just bring your food!

The main family room features 2 couches and sofa chair along with an oversized flat screen smart TV with dvd player and Dish Network. The living area opens up to 2 bedrooms (1 queen each), the master bedroom/bath and a fullsize bathroom (tub/shower combo).

Our newly remodeled master bathroom features an oversized walk in shower, soaker tub and a double vanity.

Our house is stocked with all linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

Our covered back patio faces Medina Lake and gives a wonderful view of the lake and dam! We have a charcoal BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal) and a second refrigerator on the back patio available to use as well. The back patio has a 6 person outdoor table, 4 person outdoor table, fire pit with 4 Adirondack style chairs, miscellaneous other chairs, corn hole, and horseshoes. This house has WiFi but pets are not allowed.

2.. The next two houses are about 1/3 mile down the rock driveway from the Ranch house. The first house at the top of the hill is the Log Cabin, which is a 2 bedroom (1 queen & 1 king) authentic log house with a full bathroom (tub/shower combo), kitchen (everything but a dishwasher), dining area (table for 6), living area (smart tv/dish network with 2 futons) and laundry room for your use during stay (please bring your own detergent). The front porch faces the fire pit and our back porch has a charcoal BBQ grill (please provide your own), patio table seating for 6 and views for miles! This listing is pet friendly and has WiFi.
3. This listing also includes the studio style cabin that is about 150 ft to the west of the Log House. The Cabin features a main room with 2 full-size beds, a small dining table for 4, TV/DVD player, kitchenette (full size cooktop, toaster oven, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, dishes/pots/pans), and a full bathroom (tub/shower combo). This cabin does not have WIFI.

We do not have lake access from the Ranch but we are only a short 5 minute drive to Sunset Resort or Red’s Cove boat launch (fee). Looking to rent kayaks or learn to Water Ski or Wake Board? Wallys Watersports is a great place to rent them or take a lesson and operates out of Sunset Resort for enjoyment during your rental. Book early as Wallys' books up. Don't have a boat? You can still enjoy a day on the waters of the Medina River at either Paradise Canyon or Riverside park located about 10 mins from Sunset Ranch.

Pet Policy: while we do love furry animals, we just finished a complete remodel of our Ranch house and ask for your help in keeping it new. We do not allow animals of any type at the Ranch house. If your interested in bringing your pet, they are allowed in the 2 smaller houses.
Guest access
Guest are free to hike on 4+ acres around the houses and enjoy the outdoors. With the rental of the 3 houses, you will be the only guests on our ranch, with a maximum occupancy of 22 people. No extra guest allowed at anytime without prior approval. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES!
Other things to note
We do not allow any type of motorized vehicles that are not licensed and street legal on our ranch. That means not ATV/UTV. We do allow bicycles and hiking on our roads. We are located in the hill country, therefore you might encounter native wildlife, please view from afar and be on the lookout for snakes at all times. Absolutely NO hunting or shooting of any firearm or bow of any kind allowed at anytime. NO SMOKING/vaping inside and NO PARTIES. Failure to abide by the rules will result in loss of deposit.
