«Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO. «These past 3 days were a trip back to my childhood! The coziness of the camper was very much like the one my parents had for our vacations. Most everything was typical of a maintained camper - gas stove with an electric option, windows, toilet, shower, refrigerator, with a modern plus of a microwave. Being next to Lake Superior/L'Anse Bay was a big plus. Owners were a phone call away if needed (I did call for info and they were answered immediately). The only drawback was that fact that US-41 ...
