I’m torn between giving this a 3.5 but I think a four star review is appropriate.
Overall, the location and price were fantastic. It’s close to a lot of the spots you would want to visit whenever you stay in Mexico City. The apartment was clean and spacious.
The reason I deducted some points is because of a couple of things. We requested a crib to be put in our apartment but it was broken upon arrival. They did quickly fix it however, the “mattress“ that was inside of the crib was basically hardened cardboard. I wouldn’t want to sleep on that let alone my nine month old. We asked if there was anything else he could use but the best that they could offer me was an extra sheet.
I also could never find anyone who actually worked there who could assist me. It was mainly just security guards who were trying their best.
Lastly, while I understand that centralized air conditioning is not common in CDMX, the description says that there is some sort of AC provided. However, when we entered the apartment, there was just one unit located in one bedroom. This unit was barely enough to cool down the one bedroom let alone the entire two bedroom apartment. We put our baby in that bedroom so he could sleep better but it left the other bedroom unbearably hot even with fans. Luckily, we were not there during the day, but on the one time we did stop by around 4 PM, the thermostat read 85° inside of the apartment.
