Hotel was great and it excellent condition. The only thing that was odd is that the front desk was going to charge me $400 MXN for missing a door key...never have I had to pay for one even when I forgot to leave and ended up with me in my luggage.

Mi esposa y yo estuvimos hospedados 9 días en este hotel. Hubo una excelente comunicación con el personal del hotel incluso antes de nuestra llegada. El personal es muy amable y cortés. Sus sugerencias fueron muy útiles para que pudiéramos disfrutar al máximo nuestro viaje, Nos dieron muy buenas sugerencias sobre qué y dónde comer y lugares para visitar. Make sure to have them remove the items in the room for purchase. We were accused of drinking water we did not consume. There is a 7-11 around the corner to buy needed items.

Bait and switch, not pet friendly
Booked a deluxe suite because website said it was pet friendly. Got to the hotel and were told we needed an official letterhead for a service dog for the room we had booked. On their website it just says need vaccination records. They said we could take the very basic room but wouldn't be refunded the difference. Only staying 1 night so couldn't find another dog friendly hotel last minute. Don't understand how we could stay in the suite with a dog with a letter but not allowed to if we don't have a letter Extremely bait and switch. Paying double the price for a basic room. No bath, half the size room, floor close to street level. Was then told that the dog is not allowed in the room by itself, never had that happen in a "pet friendly" hotel. We then left and of course they didnt offer a refund Definitely don't recommend staying here. Unhelpful staff and management whi dont care at all about guest experience

As we mentioned, when travelling with a service or emotional support pet, in these cases there are no restrictions due to the medical indications that were previously endorsed by a doctor. Likewise, before your arrival you communicated with the reservations department through the means in which you booked, you were given the information that you had to show an official document from your doctor stating that your pet is a service or emotional support pet and that this would not have any cost. We as service providers cannot refuse entry to any room to guests with such a document. At your arrival you did not show official document that is why we changed the protocol for domestic pets, which has an extra cost and is in specific rooms as mentioned in the public page where you booked. Great stay in Mexico City. Staff were wonderful and incredibly friendly and helpful. Gave us crutches when one of our friends hurt his leg. Lovely building and rooms. Very clean. Safe and very close to many attractions.

Hotel Punto MX was an excellent choice for our first visit to Mexico City. It is conveniently located in the Historic Center, and it made our visit very comfortable at a reasonable price. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Raul in the bar/restaurant gave us pointers on tasting mezcal, as well as some tips regarding the wine list (which is pretty extensive for a hotel). Sergio helped us book a tour to Teotihuacan and set everything up for us, as well as advising on restaurants and booking taxi service. We really lacked for nothing during our stay thanks to a lovely and attentive staff. The rooms are tastefully designed and clean. They provide toiletries and a decent hair dryer with some power to it. Because the room's windows face the atrium, you can't see outside, but the upside is that the rooms are quiet (the higher up you are, the quieter the room). They also provide 2 small bottles of water free each day, with additional larger bottles available for purchase. Location is blocks away from Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and Templo Mayor, as well as several metro stops. The included buffet breakfast is comprehensive and includes both Mexican and US-style food. The downsides were few and none were deal breakers. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice, and some of the towels were starting to look a little shabby, but I didn't mind either. I highly recommend Hotel Punto MX for a comfortable, convenient stay in CDMX.

The location was great and the room was very clean. It’s small details that didn’t ruin my stay at the hotel but it annoyed me…for example, the sheets in the room were not soft…they had been slept in and washed one to many time as had the towels…the towels were due to be changed…all the threads were coming apart…

Habitación muy chiquita, apesar de que lo externé, nunca me ofrecieron otra habitación. En el restaurant, te olvidan y practicamente tu tienes que ir a servirte el cafe; en la crema habia un pelo y la mesera solo lo escondió, no funciona el wifi, la toalla estaba rota

I have stayed at the hotel for a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me to arrange a private driver for my two day-trips and airport drop off. The breakfast are Mexican food and have many options. The only thing I would suggest is that the bath towels too old and need to be replaced.

Las instalaciones están en muy buen estado y limpias, pero la habitación en zona de no fumar era literalmente una caja sin ningún tipo de ventilación, una ventana pequeña sellada sin forma de abrir lo cual genera calentamiento y mal olor en la habitación, parte del personal estaba más atento al celular que en atender a los huéspedes y la comida está regular, el punto bueno es que hay infinidad de lugares para conseguir alimento fuera del hotel y con mucha variedad
