Chalet with garden, views, wifi, Leeuwarden Franeker Harlingen

In beautiful Friesland, we offer a charmingly decorated chalet (No. 103) called the “Fries-Weilandhuisje.” It overlooks pastures with sheep and cows and is located about 10 kilometers from the capital, Leeuwarden. The garden is large (about 300 m²) and offers plenty of privacy.

The “Fries-Weilandhuisje” is located in the peaceful Waadhoekerhout park in Menaldum (Menaam), which features a laundromat.
Menaldum is centrally located in beautiful Friesland, between Leeuwarden (Europe’s 2018 Capital of Culture) and Franeker. Harlingen is also nearby. Nature, culture, charming towns, lakes, beaches, the Wadden Sea, and the Wadden Islands. Friesland offers many wonderful experiences, all easily accessible. Enjoy the beauty of Friesland by car, bike, on foot, or by water.

FRIES-WEILANDHUISJE, NO. 103 - CHALET (MAX 2 adults and 2 children)
Our chalet, measuring over 40 m², was newly furnished in 2015 with:
•Cozy living room with a comfortable three-seater sofa, a cozy dining area, a beautiful unobstructed view of the meadow (where sheep and/or cows regularly graze), and French doors leading to the garden.
•Large (80 cm) flat-screen TV with a wide selection of international channels.
•Free Wi-Fi via Ziggo.
•Well-equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove, combination microwave, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, and plenty of storage space.
•Bathroom with sink, shower stall, and toilet
•Bedroom with a double bed (140x200), large closet, and dressing table.
•Bedroom with a bunk bed, closet space, and room to add a folding cot.
•Large garden with patio furniture and a parasol.
•Shed
•Comfortable and energy-efficient pellet (wood) stove. Fuel available in the village of Menaldum.
•A water heater provides hot water.
•Parking is available right outside the door.

PRICE
The price includes final cleaning, park/service fees, electricity, gas, water, Wi-Fi, TV, tourist tax, use of the pool (if open), and parking at the cottage.
Please bring your own bedding, towels, and kitchen towels. Bedding can also be rented for €10.00 per person. You must order this well in advance.

"In Style" Vacation Park
The chalet is located in the peaceful In Style Vacation Park. Address: Gralda 5, 9036 JJ Menaam. Tourist information is available at the reception desk. The park is located between the two Frisian villages of Menaldum and Dronryp. There is a bus stop right in front of the park entrance. The capital city of Leeuwarden (Europe’s Capital of Culture in 2018) and the beautiful city of Franeker are within cycling distance. A large swimming pond, “de Swanneblom,” is a natural body of water located about 2 km from the park and is ideal for children. Admission is free. You can fully enjoy the beautiful views of the characteristic Frisian landscape, go on long bike rides, explore the beautiful city of Leeuwarden, or take a boat ride on the Frisian waters. The vacation park is spacious.

DIRECTIONS
In Style Vacation Park is located in northern Friesland between the cities of Harlingen and Leeuwarden. From the Afsluitdijk, drive toward Harlingen. From Harlingen, follow the A31 toward Leeuwarden. On the A31, take the “Dronrijp/Menaldum” exit—exit number 21. Then follow the signs toward Menaldum. Once you’ve passed under the overpass, the park will be on your right.
