Villa i Mellieha, Malta - Fredelig beliggenhet i Santa Maria Estate

Villa Sardinella ligger i den populære åssiden Santa Maria, i en kort spasertur fra Santa Maria Bay, en steinete steinete og en kort kjøretur til Ghadiras populære sandstrand og Mellieha-restauranter, og tilbyr en luksuriøs og privat ferie hjem for familier og venner.

Inne i villaen, salongen, fullt utstyrt kjøkken og spisestue kan bli funnet i første etasje med en balkong med utsikt over bassenget terrassen nedenfor; et flott sted for kveldsgrill eller familiens frokost i solskinnet. Den åpne planen har air condition for de varme sommerdager eller kalde vinterkvelder.

Kjøkkenet er utstyrt med kaffemaskin, oppvaskmaskin, mikrobølgeovn og de grunnleggende apparatene som kokeplater, stekeovn, kjøleskap og fryser.

På de nedre etasjene er det fem romslige soverom og nytte av klimaanlegg. Fire av soverommene har eget bad og dusjfasiliteter, og eiendommen har ett hovedbad. Alle soverommene har en TV som er utstyrt med digitale kanaler.

Bassengområdet har en rekke solsenger og parasoller og vender ut mot en fin dal.

Villaen tilbyr gratis wifi internett og også kabel-tv og en playstation og en bluetooth høyttaler i stua. Villaen er også utstyrt med brettspill for gjester å nyte på en natt i.

Vi tilbyr gjester grunnleggende toileteries, håndklær, badehåndklær og laken.

En matpakke kan ordnes mot en ekstra kostnad fra våre forhåndsinnstilte lister. Vi kan også ordne spesielle shoppingvarer etterspurt.

Spacious 3 Level Home in Lovely Area

Spacious place with plenty of bedrooms. Could have had more lounge area in the main dining/lounge area, we were a family of 12. Rooms were clean, except one shower did have cold water and needed a clean, with slight mould under shower door screen. Kids loved the pool and they supplied extra towels which helped. The ad did mention Video Game Console, the owners said it had been one previously but not anymore and were adjusting the ad. Area is gorgeous and balcony view of the area was lovely. You do need to have a car or transport as not too close to amenities if walked. All in all, the family had a lovely time in Melleiha. Thank you to the owners for giving us a last minute booking and everything went smoothly to booking, checking in and communication.

Great Stay

Our 5 night stay at Villa Sardinella couldn’t have gone any better. The spacious villa was spotless clean & the hosts were always more than happy to help. We made great use of the Maltese weather in the lovely pool & even enjoyed a final night bbq on the Villa’s balcony dining area. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay & thank our hosts for their lovely property

Excellent villa in lovely location

We had such a lovely time in Malta, the villa was so spacious and had everything we needed. We were a group of 9, two families, and it felt perfect. They supplied lots of towels so no need to take any which saved space in the suitcases and lovely welcome packs on every bed which included shampoo and body wash which we thought was a lovely touch. There was everything you could possibly need, including games and books. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and it was money well spent, we all absolutely loved it! The bedrooms were so big and having en-suites in nearly all the rooms was amazing. The location was excellent, close to sandy beaches and the ferry going over to Gozo. Even though we read that public transport was excellent the cost of hiring a car was so reasonable and with kids it was so much easier. It gave us freedom to explore around the beautiful island from top to bottom, there was so much to see and do. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and would definitely return to the villa.

Massive apartment on 3 levels . Beautiful bedrooms all with en-suite except one . Pool clean with plenty of sun beds . Kitchen fully stocked . Great stay …. and using Wolt for the shopping and Bolt for the taxi made everything very easy

Villa Sardinella - June 29th- July 6th

Very spacious accommodation, accurate as described on website. However, the only downside is extra shelving and hooks required in balthrooms. Also a mop would have been handy!! There also was a faulty catch on the kitchen balcony door. It is prone to locking oneself out on the balcony. The location was set in a very quiet place and you would need to drive to ease access to amenities. However overall stay was very pleasant and would recommend the villa.

Perfect for a lot of guests

We came to Malta for our wedding, having the villas so big and next to each other was a bliss. Each guest had their own bathroom, we were making breakfast in one villa and bbq in the other. Overall it was a great experience. The only thing to consider is that it is far from the capital Valletta and it’s a 40 min drive from the airport. It’s very easy to jump on the bus and visit every corner of the island, even going to Gozo in the bus was convenient. If you are to arrive later in the night, make sure to get the kitchen package so that when you arrive there will be water. We arrived very late in the night and there was no store open to buy drinkable water so we had to wait until the following morning. We had a great time at the Villas, we were a total of 24 guests and we had a great time, Malta will be forever in our hearts and we will soon return.

A lovely villa in a nice location. Very clean and well equipped

A very enjoyable holiday in the villa. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Having read about the hill to the shops I was a bit apprehensive but to be honest none of us found it too bad. The pool was a blessing as it was hot and was used and enjoyed by us all. I had to contact the owners about a couple of minor things and they responded extremely promptly and the very minor things were dealt with equally promptly. We were all extremely happy with our stay and (none of us having been on a villa holiday before) are already looking for our next villa holiday. Thank you Janice and Charmaine. Also thanks to Michele who dealt with the queries and brought us extra sunloungers when we had family over

Fabulous villa, clean, great location and VERY comfy beds

The villa is fab. On arrival It was clean, the beds are gorgeous - so comfy, and it’s in a great location. The pool is clean and the sun beds are great. The ONLY negative is the kitchen has no where near enough utensils, serving dishes etc etc. For a villa with the capacity to sleep many, there needs to be more than two serving dishes. We stayed in for Breakfast and had a bbq and struggled with serving spoons, dishes etc. It would also benefit from decent wine glasses or Flutes For Prosecco (very minor, we survived without them but would Of been nice). Apart From that it was fab.

Great villa, everything you need!

The villa was very clean, in a good location to the local beaches, very spacious, having individual bathrooms for each room was very handy. The villa owners were very helpful and contactable should we need anything. Overall, I recommend this place highly if you want to stay in Mellieha area.

We enjoyed the villa. We were left to our own devices by the owners from start to finish though they arranged a taxi for us from the airport and also car hire for the week. They offered to stock the villa as well for our arrival which we should have availed of as we got there late at night. I would advise hiring a car if staying here. Nearest shops are 10 minutes walk up a very steep hill where there is a decent supermarket. Nearest bus stop is up there as well as far as I know. I couldn't figure out how to work the TVs and gave up on them though my 11 year old son got one working. One must mention that, also, apparently, one should expect to encounter ants with great regularity. They were very prominent on the living room floor and the first night they were also on the counter tops in the kitchen. We had to lay traps for them and be very careful with food. I emailed the owners and in fairness received a prompt reply on how to deal with them. The barbeque was put to use on a few occasions and we enjoyed that. We had family staying in another villa where no barbeque was provided and even prohibited. Other than that the property is very well maintained, spacious and exactly as advertised and we would stay here again if visiting in Mellieha.

Beautiful villa

We recently spent a week in this villa for our wonderful wedding. The villa was beautiful and very spacious. It was perfect for what we needed especially getting ready on our wedding day. Everywhere was well maintained, the pool was lovley and so nice having the sun on the pool area for pretty much all day. BBQ and terrace was fabulous, spent quite a few nights enjoying this. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were so spacious, it was nice having a bathroom in each room. We would definitely recommend this villa and we will certainly be returning in the future.

Spacious villa

We stayed as a party of nine and villa Sardinella was perfectly spacious for us all. Wonderfuly big bedrooms and bathrooms all modern and well presented. The beds were all comfortable and good sizes. The balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the sun rise/set. The pool was a very good size although this was in the shade by 6pm. Definitely not a bad thing if the sun is at its hottest, especially if you have young children. The villa is well situated and close to a good selection of shops and restaurants. There are watersports to be found on Mellieha Bay. From start to finish the process of renting this villa was as smooth as possible. Janice was so helpful and accommodating.

Spacious villa with a good pool in nice, quiet location and efficient service from owner

This was a great villa for us with a large family. It had excellent, new bathrooms and a fabulous pool area (water not that warm in April though because pool was part-shaded throughout the day by trees). Good kitchen, nice balcony area and patio table and we made good use of the barbecue. Bedroom and living areas were ok, would benefit from better quality beds and towels, some homely touches and a better dishwasher. Lower floor bedrooms were a long way downstairs but the rooms were certainly spacious (bathroom on lower floor had not been refurbished to the standard of upstairs bathrooms and shower took ages to get luke warm but main bathroom was fine). Reasonably well cleaned and maintained, could have been a bit more thorough. Mellieha has a great selection of restaurants and supermarkets and an excellent bakery at the top of the road. Owner was efficient and helpful in dealing with the booking and meeting us at the airport with the key, other than that we were left alone. Overall it was good value for the price we paid and a good base to view 'Game of Thrones' film locations across Malta!
