While the hotel is centrally located, we understand that at times, due to the bustling nature of Melbourne's CBD taxis may not be immediately available at the taxi rank directly in front of the hotel. We are always ready to assist our guests with transportation arrangements to ensure a smoother travel experience within the city.It is also disappointing to learn that the noise level adversely impacted your comfort. We do provide earplugs as a measure to mitigate any external noise and ensure a more restful sleep for our guests. Furthermore, we would like to clarify that our hotel is conveniently situated within a short walking distance to Flinders Street Station, offering easy access to public transport.Our team is deeply saddened that our service and room amenities did not live up to your expectations. My room was not vacuumed in 4 days, the basin but not the bench was cleaned. I had to request tea etc from housekeeping because the girls cleaning were slack and unprofessional.

Easy access to trams on Swanston, Bourke and Collins Sts so makes it easy for tram travel. So close to everything, perfect location. We went to a game at the MCG and it was an easy walk….with a couple of bar stops along the way.

Good property in the CBD close to everything and heaps dining options in Melbourne. Walkable to everywhere in the CBD. Property showing signs of wear and tear though, rooms needs a spruce up. Bathroom and room overall a good size. Water pressure good, beds comfortable. Recommended!

Nous avons bien aimé cet hôtel pour l extrême gentillesse du personnel au restaurant en revanche les personnes à l'accueil ne vous disent pas bonjour. L'hôtel est globalement propre sauf la chambre où nous avons trouvé une bouteille d eau vide sous notre lit et les des emballages d oeufs en chocolat au niveau de la table de nuit des enfants. Le petit déjeuner était très variés. En revanche le lait au chocolat et le café sont mauvais. Dans l ensemble nous garderons un bon souvenir de cet hôtel.

Very polite and professional staff. Close to everything. Clean and tidy room. We had “don’t disturb” on the door knob and everyday they sent a note saying that we didn’t want to disturb you so please let us know whenever you want us to clean your room. Good breakfast buffet. This place is in a very convenient location in the heart of Melbourne. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the Happy Hour at the hotel bar is definitely worth checking out as is the buffet breakfast. It is an older building though and the facilities feels tired at times, although the lifts work very quickly. The pool is adequately heated but is very small so fills up quickly.

We stayed at Novotel Melbourne on Collins during the Taylor Swift weekend in Melbourne and the city was super busy. It is amazing the boost these three concerts must have had for the economy of the city. Despite the craziness of the city during this weekend it was great to have the Novotel to came back to. Located right in the middle of Collins Street the location is perfect for anyone visiting Melbourne. Dining and shopping options are within a 100 metres in every direction, and a tram stop is practically right outside the door. The staff are wonderfully friendly and super helpful. The hotel itself is spotless, and our room (junior suite) was the perfect size for our family of four. The breakfast was great with delicious hot and cold options, and the food available from the bar was also terrific (we tried the spaghetti bolognese, Collins Club, and the dumplings). The pool (with spa) and gym were an added bonus. All in all, a great hotel for a visit to Melbourne.

Mostly good but the pitiful performance of the hotel’s wi-fi tainted our stay. Certainly not strong enough for streaming. Sub 1Mbps for the entirety of our stay. Tested speed on lvl11 and lvl7 - same poor performance. Such a shame as the rest of our experience was fine.

We stayed at the Novotel for just 1 night. Room was clean and comfortable, all staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, good location and within walking distance to CBD and all shops. Parking was a little hard to find and valet parking is expensive $64 per night, but managed to get the 1 spot available at the front of the hotel to unload our bags. Overall, very good experience. Would recommend.
