We booked a two night stay at this property and the house itself looked great at first. However, the host, Nick, completely failed to mention that the house has a mouse problem.On our first night, we found a live mouse running around the house. When we looked around, we actually found multiple mouse traps that were already set up, so they clearly knew about the issue before we checked in. It completely ruined the trip for us. Out of our group, five people were so uncomfortable that they refused to sleep there, packed their bags in the middle of the night, and left to go pay for a hotel.I messaged Nick to ask for a partial refund so I could at least compensate my friends who had to leave, but he was incredibly difficult to deal with. Instead of trying to help, he got defensive and even threatened to charge us extra cleaning fees and then refund them so it can be considered a wash despite us cleaning the house before leaving. We have clear video and photo proof of the mouse inside the house, along with the text messages where Nick admits to the pre-existing traps. This is a major health and safety issue, and I won't be renting from someone like him or his company again. If you can't be clear and transparent with your customers you don't deserve our business.
