«The breakfast was terrible. Poor quality and poor selection. Juice machine broken and food not refilled promptly. Weird children’s cereal ,no fruit and no yogurt. Bread was the only reliable thing to eat!»

«This is a quick turnaround facility. Most people are either going or coming from the airport and staying one night. It was clear the housekeeping staff was expected to turn rooms around quickly - and we’re not given sufficient time for a thorough cleaning The room was comfortable but the standard of cleaning left a lot to be desired. Discovered a dirty diaper in the recycling bin from the previous occupant. Mold in the shower. And dust in the corners of the floors. Breakfast was basic. »

«There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. «The room was clean and the hotel was in good shape. There was lots of parking but it did take a while to get there from downtown Halifax. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was raining. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a little dated it was fine. It even had a pool but we were only there for the night.»

«This place is sketchy. We showed up on a Friday afternoon and there were a lot of workers hanging around in the parking lot drinking beer and smoking. We also noticed 2 cop cars and a patty wagon. Police were waking along the top floor balcony and patrolling the parking lot. My daughter wouldn't even get out of the car. «The restaurant is fantastic, staff are great. Comfortable beds, excellent pillows(subjective, I know), and location of hotel is perfect for walks along the boardwalk and being in close proximity to restaurants and museums. That said, room 285 is located right above a noisy area (loud music) and close enough to the gym that I could hear some of the equipment when in use. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again, but ask for a different room/floor.»
