Quick Stay in McMinnville

The property was very comfortable and well appointed. It was within walking distance to historic downtown McMinnville shops and restaurants, and a good location for visiting wineries in the upper Willamette valley. We would definitely stay there again.

Another wonderful stay in wine country
A comfortable home with a well stocked kitchen. The nice weather allowed us to enjoy the backyard. We grilled and sat around the fire pit. Close to many wineries and downtown McMinnvile.

Our 2nd Time Staying in This Beautiful Home
We stayed at this property in 2018, and again this past week. It has been meticulously maintained. We will return here on our next trip to the Willamette Valley. It is in a great location for visiting wineries in Dundee, Amity and Newberg, to mention a few. There are great restaurants and shopping nearby in McMinnville. The patio area with a grill and a wonderful fire-pit was a great place to relax and reflect when we returned from a day of winery visits. We would highly recommend this property!

Relaxing and Well Appointed
Brooks House was perfect for our visit to McMinnville. The home is beautifully decorated, cozy, and equipped with just about anything you could need. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit, dinners around the table and coffee at the spacious kitchen island. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful home. Wonderful House!
We do an annual wine trip each year and chose McMinnville this summer. The Brooks Street House was the perfect place to stay. Fabulous, well-stocked kitchen, three comfy bedrooms, and a super backyard for lounging after a day of wine tasting. Rich was a great host, and super quick to answer questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed during IPNC
This is a very comfortable property. It is a very comfortable home with impressive remodeling. The downstairs bathroom does have a claw foot tub, which makes showering challenging, but the upstairs bathroom more than makes up for it! It was a short drive to the Linfield campus for the IPNC. I would highly recommend this property!

Great old house.
House was amazing. Very comfortable and a nice layout. Was a bit surprised by the location. At the end of a bridge under construction and on a very busy and noisy street. The neighbors cat kept us entertained. We are all cat people so he got pampered 😂

Easy access to all things Willamette Valley!
Location perfect for our wine tasting junkets throughout the valley. Great for walking into McMinnville for a meal and shopping. The home is well appointed with anything you need while away from home. Kitchen is fantastic! Loved the outdoor space for dining and hanging out by the fire pit with coffee in the a.m. and wine in the evening. The only negative is the busy road that runs adjacent to the property that is currently under construction. Imagine the additional construction noice will be relieved when the construction completes so definitely wouldn’t keep us from staying here again if we make a return trip to the area.

Perfect spot!
The house was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. 10-15 min walk to downtown, 15 min drive to the wineries, absolutely great location! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need, there was plenty of parking and the backyard/fire pit was such a fun spot. Would definitely stay again!

Well-stocked, beautifully updated home 1/2 mile from the middle of McMinnville
3 couples stayed at the house for the UFO fest weekend. The owners have lovingly restored this old farmhouse and have made it a very comfortable place to land. The backyard fireplace is secluded, and the kitchen and bathrooms are VERY well stocked with the "regular" S&P as well as spare toothbrushes, etc.

The Brooks St house is beautiful! The attention to detail in the decorating is impeccable. The kitchen is well stocked and stunning! We enjoyed the patio and firepit! Bonus is the sound system throughout the house and outdoors! The downside is the traffic and construction by the home.

Perfect setting for girls’ trip
This property was clean and the decor was lovely and inviting. Three very comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, two nice bathrooms made our stay delightful. We enjoyed the outdoor space with fire pit both in the mornings and evenings! The location of this property is convenient to downtown McMinville and to many wineries as well as a quick one hour drive to the coast!

Great Weekend Getaway
Far and away the nicest short-term rental my wife and I have experienced. Easily the best equipped kitchen, most comfortable bedrooms, and AC throughout the house, (important as our stay coincided with the temps in the mid nineties). The owners even supply toothbrushes and toothpaste for the forgetful. The house really had more the feel of a B&B than a short term rental, and an easy walk to downtown.

This was a very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Our friends loved it. My husband and I had been there before. We sat by the fire, played games made dinner twice. Very well equipped kitchen for people who like to cook, like us. Beds are comfy too. Great place highly recommend.

Second year here!
Our second year here and love the new back patio furniture. We spent a good deal of time there and on the front porch. The front porch is great. Unfortunately, bridge repair was going on. Traffic there is loud so windows can't be opened at night. Thanks for the ear plugs but our ears weren't sympatico with them! Also, I was a little concerned regarding the main floor bedroom windows which are painted shut. There was quite a bit of concern in our family group about the lack of egress from that room should it be necessary. Other than that, our stay was great. We had everything we needed. Kitchen is very well stocked and beds are comfortable. Thanks for providing such a nice place to stay while in McMinnville.

This is a beautifully renovated property with great proximity to wine tasting. You can walk to McMinnville where there are great restaurants and tasting rooms. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. The only downside is traffic noise and bridge construction starting early on weekdays. The host does supply ear plugs which we definitely needed. Noise is prominent in the 2nd floor rooms and less noticeable in the downstairs room. Gorgeous garden and nearby park.

This house worked great for us while we were in the Williamette Valley wine tasting. The road out front had quite a bit of construction so it was louder than usual, but house was great, walking distance to downtown and nice outside patio. We'd stay again!

Great Oregon wine country stay
The Brooks Street House is beautiful, well appointed, and well located for a visit to Oregon wine country and attractions like Wings and Waves and the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. We also enjoyed proximity to downtown and places like the Granary District. Just down the street is a great park with playground (Joe Dancer Park) if you're traveling with kids. As many reviews said it is on a busy, loud street - the ear plugs were a nice touch, and it's quieter inside than expected. We definitely still enjoyed some time outside by the fire pit. Overall nice stay!

A Wedding in Wine Country
The house was gorgeous - a beautifully remodeled 19th century farmhouse. Beds were very comfortable, and the sitting room was amply supplied with interesting books. Kitchen and bathrooms had top-notch fixtures.

Wine Wife Weekend!
I have been wanting to stay at this property for over 5 yrs, and had to cancel at the beginning of Covid, so when the hosts were responsive to our need to cancel, we prioritized re-booking when we were ready to travel. It did not disappoint! The hosts continued to be responsive to a question/concern during our trip this time! This has the best equipped kitchen out of any of the VRBOs that I have every stayed! Even had my favorite brand of pots! It may have also been on a busy street, but they provided ear plugs and it was not a loud as one might assume. The fire pit outback was glorious and I look forward to staying when it might be warmer weather to enjoy. Perfect for four women enjoying a wine weekend away, even when I was in a medical boot with the stairs! I look forward to staying here again soon!

the Brooks House is beautiful and has everything we needed for a family weekend. we walked to downtown. we enjoyed the fire pit and patio/bbq. everything about the house and our stay there was great. the road noise from the traffic is an issue. we used the fans in the bedroom as white noise. the host was great at responsive communication.

So charming
The house is so charming and comfortable with a fabulous wrap around porch. We went for a family wedding so we were not there very much. However, we would like to go back and take the time to visit the area and the wineries. I forgot shampoo and luckily it was provided along with other small necessities. Communication with the hosts was easy and the photos and representation are exactly what you get. I would highly recommend this VRBO

Lovely Home
This is a lovely home, comfortably furnished and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed grilling and making s'mores in the great yard. The location is close to town and a great park. It is on a main road and there is some road noise, but I just used my white noise app on my phone and slept just fine. Check in and out was easy. Great place!

Perfect Rental Home
We loved our stay at this home. Very clean, cozy and well decorated. It’s fully stocked with anything you need for a comfortable stay. The backyard space was great for eating and having a bonfire. It’s a short walk into downtown McMinville. It is on a busy road but there is a sidewalk the entire walk to town. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk there. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning. The owner was helpful and great at returning our messages quickly. We also met him as we were packing to leave. Highly recommend this great property!

Cute and walkable to downtown
The house was very cute, they kept elements of the vintage charm, but updated it with many modern amenities. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. The backyard was cute and the fire pit was easy to use. There is a lot of street noise because you’re on the corner of a busy street, but I was told it was more noisy than normal because people were using the main road as a detour for an area where there is road construction. Overall really loved it and would definitely recommend it to friends.

Great base for wine tasting!
We loved staying at this home. It was beautifully updated, charming and incredibly well stocked with everything a visitor might need - even toothbrushes and razors were provided! There was plenty of comfortable seating, the sound system was amazing, beds and pillows were great quality and the sheets were far better than many sheets at other places we've rented, The location was close to restaurants and shops and the large fire pit allowed us to sit outside in the evening, even though it was somewhat cool. The only downside we could see is that there is road noise nearby if that bothers you. However, the hosts graciously provide ear plugs and we found we didn't even need them. We will definitely return!!
