Great property- well appointed
Had a fantastic stay for Linfield graduation. Three generations enjoyed being together in this well appointed house. Deck and yard were large and kitchen well-stocked. So close to campus we could walk.

Great for family gathering.
We are a three-generation family of 10 people. House was perfect for us. It was winter so we did not go outside, but it looks like the back yard would be fun for kids or a pet.

Disappointing
We stayed late October and had a wonderful. However the house was a disappointment. First the ice maker was not working and ice cube trays were not provided, even after a request. The oven was filthy. The home was marginally clean—but better after we dusted. We appreciated(?) the cobwebs near the fireplace—after all, it was Halloween. It meet our needs fot a large group, but disappointing in cleanliness and lack of ice!

Enjoyable stay; good location
Main advantage of this house is location. This is an older home, and rental is a good value for a large group. I have two complaints. Downstairs bathroom had not been cleaned and was very unappealing. Could not find cleaning supplies to do it myself. Tub/shower in that same bathroom was like taking a shower in an ice skating rink, with no tub/bath mat available. With those issues addressed, I would rent again.

Family Time
All 3 generations LOVED the home. It was perfect. Each family had it's own bath which was such a luxury. Plenty of space to eat and gather. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, tools, basic spices, etc. Great location. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We felt that owners made an effort to make our stay as nice as possible. Girls Get-a-way
Four friends had a grand time! Wonderful place for everyone to have their space yet intimate gathering for conversation and good food. Great Kitchen. What would have made it nicer is if the landscaping didn't look so horrible. It needs a lot of love and work.

Perfect Location in a Funky Home
The house is older but perfectly functional. Lovely to have every bedroom en suite. Kitchen had everything you need. The oven and grill need cleaning. A few window opening mechanisms were not working. But, the location is perfect for walking to town for dinner or coffee. Linfield College is just down the street. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Time
The house was just as described. It was such a fun place to stay. The kitchen is amazing and very well stocked. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom and the towels were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to rent again.

Our Minnesota Friends visit McMinnville
The property was pretty much as described. We had 5 couples so the 5 bedrooms with their own bathroom was great. The beds were comfortable. Lots of information about the local area and very easy walk to downtown. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the welcome bottles of wine. We had issues with the coffee pots, bedroom s could use updating including showers with some mold, needed more cleaning. The grounds could have used some TLC, as well as the hoses lying loose on the decks. However, we would rent here again with a large group.

Great location and lots of space for large family
My husband and I rented this property with his family, a total of 8 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very comfortable and had plenty of space. There was even a delicious bottle of wine waiting when we arrived. The kitchen was extremely spacious and mad cooking breakfast for lots of people a breeze. On arrival, the house looked a little bit more weathered than in the photos and the backyard looked less landscaped than the photos. The only complaint we had is that the upstairs rooms remained very hot, even with the a/c turned low and ceiling fans on high. This is probably only an issue in August but something to consider if you book in the summer. Overall, the property looks a bit outdated but was perfect for a large family.

Great House for a Group!
We stayed here for a spring retreat for our small company and all of the bedrooms having an attached full bath was huge and allowed everyone comfort and privacy. The house and grounds are great and little bit funky in a good way, as it used to be a bed and breakfast. The location is perfect for walking to 3rd Street/downtown or Linfield. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Graduation weekend
This property is wonderful for groups. We spent Linfield graduation weekend here and were able to have a great celebration for the whole family. There are 5 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and able to handle the largest of feasts. It is a quick walk to downtown for shopping and great restaurants. The owners were great to work with and helped with a couple of special requests.

Great Family Time in McMinnville

Such a great place!
We had such a good time here! The hosts were so thoughtful and the place is fantastic. I loved that it was walking distance from downtown, but not on major busy roads. I’d go back in a heartbeat. So many rooms, it was great for our friend group. The place is huge and so comfortable! And the kitchen was fantastic to make large breakfasts together. Thanks for the excellent stay!

Perfect for a large group of wine lovers
Plenty of space for the 5 couples in our group. It was so nice to have our own bathrooms. The mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. We also appreciated the supply of coffee. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops. We also did winery tours and the company was able to pick us up at the house. Would definitely use this property again for another trip to the Willamette Valley!

This charming rental is perfectly located for groups wanting to explore wine country. McMinnville is not only close to all the wineries and vineyards, it also has a great downtown with amazing dining options. The rental is walking distance to all these fun spots. It is even cuter than the pictures show. We had a great time.

Woodland beauty and privacy in McMinnville
A flawless rental pricess and stay. Perfect for our pre-wedding wine tasting group in Oregon wine country. Plenty of room in the house for food, fun and relaxing. Perfect location...park and walk everywhere!
Six friends stayed here for a long weekend get away and it was perfect. Plenty of comfortable gathering spaces inside and outside. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals. And a nice stash of snacks and bottled water greeted us. It was a short walk into town with tasting rooms and great restaurants. We parked and never drove again until we left. There are countless wineries within a 5 mile radius and booked a wine tour that picked us up at the house and dropped us back off. Great place we are talking about doing it again next year...would definitely recommend this as a vacation rental.

Charming and spacious home
This home has everything you need for a large group. Seven women comfortably fit and the multiple bathrooms were a huge plus! We cooked and enjoyed wine in the house. A few deers visited us too. Great house for women’s getaway!
A group of women helped welcome our sister to her 50s here. It was a great house for that! Bedrooms have their own bathrooms and all but one are queen beds - perfect for our group of 9. No one felt that they get the short end of the stick- all the bedrooms were great! The walking distance to town can’t be beat! And finally- the owners were so great to work with. Attentive, quick responses and so understanding as Covid rescheduled our trip 3 times! Stay here!

August Times at Berry House

Perfect for groups!
Great location, easy walk to McMinnville and farmers market on Thursdays. Quick drive to so many wineries, but beware summer construction so take that into account getting to appointments. Each guest room has a private bath which was amazing! Cooks kitchen with wine fridge and even good knives, so well outfitted with plenty of settings for a large group. What a great experience, we would definitely book again!

A Great Stay in McMinnville
Our family gathered to celebrate our youngest daughter’s Willamette Law School graduation. The house was large and welcoming, with plenty of room for us (the grandparents), our graduating daughter and her fiancée, and our other daughter, her husband and their three daughters. There were five bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, which made it easy to get ready, and we never ran out of hot water. Though the main deck was not completely repaired from the ice storm that knocked it out, and the back yard was still in need of some clearing, the amenities that the homeowner provided, wine and chocolates, so many snacks, which helped so with the little one - as did the game and toy room - all the bathrooms were well stocked and laundry supplies made things so easy. We loved our stay and now have such fond memories. We highly recommend the Barry House.

Thanksgiving
This is an amazing property! It has three levels with bedroom suites on top and lower levels. It is spacious in shared and private areas. It has a large wood deck overlooking the yard which has deer and birds visiting. The kitchen is large with a professional stove and oven. This was PERFECT as we were gathering with our children during the 2 week freeze and able to socially distance and cook wonderful meals. The owners were communicative, helpful and thoughtful down to the little treats and special touches. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful and spacious!
Our extended family of 8 spent 5 days here from Wisconsin to surprise my sister in law that lives in McMinnville over Christmas week. The property is beautiful and there was plenty of room. The backyard was also spacious and beautiful. Space appears to be at a premium in McMinnville so we were very pleased. The communication and response time from the property manager was excellent and they were very receptive to our requests. If you have a larger group I’d highly recommend staying here! Also , it’s only a few minute walk from downtown shops, wine-tasting, etc.

Birthday Weekend in OR Wine Country
The Berry House was perfect for our gathering of friends for my wife's birthday weekend! The property is spacious and clean, with just the right amount of country charm. Great Place! Perfect Location
We stayed at this property with 4 other couples from South Dakota. The manager was great to work with and answered any questions promptly. It was great having a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen worked great for breakfast that we made each morning and they had a nice touch with a bottle of wine when we arrived. The distance to 3rd street was perfect. We walked there multiple times a day and every night for dinner. We would stay there again if we were going to the area. It was awesome!

Overall, our 4 couples group (8 people) had a great time. Kitchen was great and living space was good for our group size as well. Beds/baths were good. Furniture and carpet a little worn but did not really detract from us having a good time. Convenient walk to downtown restaurants. Convenient area for the wine tasting that we did too. One evening, we used/hired Chef David Erickson (www.paintingwithfood.com) and he cooked for us a great meal and brought the wine as well. Our group recommends him!

Wine tasting in Willamette Valley
Organized a group of 11 for 4 days of wine tasting. The house was perfect for our trip. Each couple had a bed/bath. Our extra person shared the “suite “ downstairs and it worked fine with the privacy doors/curtains between the rooms. Kitchen was well equipped, we had a chef do a dinner for us and did apps on the deck, dinner in the main living space(moved a table around so all 11 ate together). Location was great, especially because we walked downtown for 2 dinners and shopping. No driving and parking! We went to different wine areas each day, most within 20 minutes of the house. Very pleased with the rental!

Easy stay. Dated property.
This is a nice house for a large group. There are plenty of rooms, all with bathrooms, and enough space for everyone to spread out. The house itself however is very dated and dark, most of the rooms are in the basement so there isn't a lot of natural light & we found a few spiders hanging around (but not that much can be done about that in the PNW). The proximity of the house to town was nice, but still made for a fairly long walk - it's a long few blocks. Communication with everyone was very easy & check in/out was a breeze. The kitchen had everything you needed and there were 3 options for dining tables. There is also an upstairs tenant who you can hear through the walls/ceiling - they aren't loud but it seems the walls might be thin. Overall the house is nice if you need a place with lots of bathrooms/rooms for many guests & if you are ok with a dated/dark look & feel.
