Welcome to Trail's End, your ultimate Deep Creek getaway! This spacious and beautifully appointed 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is the perfect retreat for families and friends looking to experience the best of Deep Creek Lake. Situated in a convenient location, Trail's End offers easy access to outdoor adventures year-round. Whether you're hitting the slopes, exploring the scenic trails, or enjoying the lake's many attractions, you'll find it all just minutes away. And don't forget your furry friends—Trail's End allows up to 2 dogs, so the whole family can enjoy the vacation together. Inside, the home boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of space for everyone to unwind.

Enter the home on the main floor to find four comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living area with a fireplace, and a pool table adjacent to a wet bar, perfect for gathering and fun. Upstairs, you'll find an open-concept space with a living room that also has a fireplace, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen that opens to an outdoor deck with a gas grill and outdoor dining space.


In the evenings, take a dip in the hot tub or gather around the firepit for s'mores and stories, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Trail's End is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it your ideal home away from home. This home is perfect for a family or friend group. There is a strict 2 dog limit. Max. parking spaces: 6

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

This was our second stay at this property, the first since new owners and new management company. The location is very convenient to restaurants and stores and the house has plenty of space. The property is showing signs of deferred maintenance - nothing huge, but certainly of note since last visit. A nightstand on both sides of the king bed would be helpful and the bed pillows need to be replaced. Wifi on the lower level is fine, but the upper level is inconsistent. With some thoughtful updates and upgrades, this certainly has the ability to become a top notch property.

Most things were fine but we had planned barbecue get together with numerous people and the grill was not functioning. No response to request for compensation due to significant inconvenience. Had to find a way to barbecue elsewhere which was difficult with small children. That was to be our principal entertainment for the weekend.

Great Weekend Visit

This location had plenty of room for all of us. There was room to gather and room to spread out. The kids enjoyed the pool table, we all enjoyed the hot tub. Cornhole was also enjoyed. The kitchen had all the things we needed for the weekend. Close to lots of great adventures and things to do!

Perfect getaway house minutes away from WISP resort

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was perfect for our small group of friends. We played board games at the large kitchen table in the evenings and enjoyed playing pool in the large family recreation area as well. The owners also had provided other games to include corn hole and basketball and there was a hot tub and fire pit as well. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We were just a small group for this short visit but would certainly come back with a larger group of friends and/or family since it would be a perfect house to easily host a larger group. The house is very conveniently located to WISP, just a 5 or 6 minute drive, and there is a grocery store and other shopping right around the corner - even closer than the ski resort. We had a nice visit and would come back to this house again.

Great Weekend Getaway

Property was beautiful! We loved the basketball hoops in the driveway and the patio/deck area! The teens played in the yard and enjoyed the hot tub. The hot tub was clean. In the house it was bigger than the pictures. So much room to just lounge and hangout as a family. The couches were comfy and all the rooms had ceiling fans which was nice! We loved the pool table and that the downstairs had a mini fridge and sink. It made having 10 people easy with the extra fridge. We had a little issue with the thermostat since the weather went from low 40s to almost 80 the weekend we visited. The code for the thermostat was not correct in the book but Vacasa quickly responded and sent someone to the house to troubleshoot. We were so thankful! We love our yearly visit to deep creek lake and this house was exactly what we needed.

Conveniently Close to Everything But Still Felt Like a Woodsy Area

Bedroom and bathrooms were very nice. Both the pool table and hot tub was great to have when we just wanted to stay in and hang out! It was nice to have a lot of seating in dining room. But the other seating areas could have used a little more. My only disappointment was no dust Pan or mop available, I like to clean up if I need to. Kitchen was great, loved having a dishwasher (I don’t have one). Our doggies were happy during their stay. I was grateful for a place that allowed me and my (adult) children to bring our doggies. Overall very nice, would stay again for sure!

All you need

Everything was perfect. We had 3 teenage boys and a French bulldog with us. It had tons of space and was very comfortable and clean for a pet friendly home. There were even extra water bowls in case you forgot/needed. We used one bc we got tired of moving her bowl between the two floors. There is a nice size yard out back and the hot in on the patio. The hot tub could be seen by neighbors and the neighborhood road, so not very secluded/private but not a big deal for us. You can easily walk to the grocery store if you forgot something too. The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need...except a corkscrew! A friendly neighbor saved the evening though;) otherwise we would have just walked to the store. Highly recommend!

Very nice home and great quiet location! Negatives were little things that need to be repaired in the home, and the hot tub water looked murky/green..... also there was no lock on the hot tub like the listing said, so the code was unnecessary. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!! Would stay again!

Amazing Winter Getaway

Property was just as described. We could even see Wisp ski resort right outside the upstairs balcony. Check in process was so easy with all access codes given the day of check in so we didn’t need to get the key from a rental office. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay and the kids had a great time playing in the snow. Thank you for letting us get away for a few days to relax!

Great location for a fun ski weekend!

Overall the house was great! With less than 5 minutes to Wisp this is really a fantastic choice for a ski weekend. The house was well laid out with plenty of room for 2 families. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The house could use a little refresh though as some of the furnishings are looking a bit worn. There was no coffee pot which I have never experienced with any past rentals so not sure whether it was stolen or broken from previous renters? We ended up buying one and the owners offered to reimburse us which was great. The only other suggestion would to have a bit more information about the house and the area like a Welcome Book. All minor suggestions. I would definitely stay here again because it is so convenient to Wisp and is a perfect sized house. Thank you for sharing your home.
