Welcome to Chateau de Massanutten – a stunning, French-inspired 7BR/4.5BA retreat in Massanutten Resort designed for large groups (sleeps 18). This home blends comfort and style with two full kitchens, theater room, two game rooms, and exceptional outdoor spaces. Soak in the hot tub, unwind in the cedar barrel sauna, or gather around the fire table, all with seasonal views of the slopes. Plus, pet friendly! Managed by Chris at New School Hosting.

Chateau de Massanutten is located within Massanutten Resort, just minutes from skiing, the indoor/outdoor waterpark, golf, spa, and dining. Shenandoah National Park is only 15 minutes away for incredible hiking, and nearby breweries, wineries, and JMU/Harrisonburg are a short drive.

The chateau has amazing direct ski slope views in the winter, and nature views when the leaves are on the trees.

The home layout is as follows:

Main Level:

- Formal dining room with seating for 8
- Large eat-in kitchen with additional dining for 7, coffee bar, and ample counter space
- Living room with large TV and electric fireplace
- Screened in porch with dining for 6 plus separate seating area
- Outdoor deck with dining for 14, fire table, and gas griddle (propane provided)
- BR1: Master bedroom with king bed, queen bed and ensuite bathroom (shower and jetted tub)
- Half bath
- Full size washer / dryer

Second Level:

- BR2: King bedroom
- BR3: Queen bedroom
- Oversized hallway: Two twin beds
- Hall bath with a shower/tub combo

Third Level:

- BR4: Queen bedroom
- BR5: Bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds
- Hall bath with a shower stall

Lower Level:

- Patio with brand new 7-person hot tub, 4-person cedar barrel sauna, and circular outdoor couch for 10
- Side yard with fire table, gas grill (propane provided for both fire table and grill), and picnic table
- Game room with pool table, ping pong table, foosball, large TV and bar seating for 4
- Theater room with 65” TV for streaming all your favorite movies
- Lounge area with card table and TV with Xbox Series S

Other things to note:

- Chateau de Massanutten is pet friendly! There is a $100 total pet fee for your visit, which will cover up to 4 pets (please indicate how many pets you are bringing in the "guests" section).
- We provide our guests $1500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. The cost of this is already embedded in the cleaning fee.
- Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more.
- There is a driveway with room for 5-6 vehicles
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck. Most bedrooms, plus the living room, game rooms, and theater room, feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a $6 per person fee.
- Linens and towels provided
- Due to wildlife, trash must be taken to the Massanutten community dumpsters (per HOA rules, below)
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
- Please note that if you would like to send packages to the property, you do so at your own risk. USPS is particularly unreliable. We can not be held responsible for late or undelivered packages. Additionally, we charge $25 for any return services requested, in additional to actual postage.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!

This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests
enjoying their retreat.

NOISE
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Keep noise indoors during these hours.
• No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

PARKING
• Keep all tires off the road.
• Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval
from your host.
• Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
• No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is
available with written approval from your host.

OUTDOOR FIRES
• High wildfire risk area!
• No open fires.
• No unattended fires.
• No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency
conditions, check MassanuttenVillage(dot)com or electronic sign at
entrance for updates.

ALCOHOL
No open containers on roads or in common areas.

PETS
• Leash always required when outside.
• Clean up after your pets.

TRASH
• Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or
carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.
