«Lovely Hotel and nice food. Sadly didn't manage to sit out in the beer garden as so many wasps but no fault of the Hotel. Room was very nice, just the creaky floor boards but hey, that's just character. »

«Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.»

«We were greeted by Dale, who kindly helped us checking in very promptly at the bar. We were asked to schedule our breakfast(free of charge) time for the next morning. We were afraid that the room might be noisy at night as all the rooms were right above the bar/restaurant but it was very quiet. Room/bath nicely updated with modern yet cozy vibe and spotlessly clean! our room was facing the main street with some mountain view. parking was free and right behind the building.

«Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor.
Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over.
An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.»
