Very good location!
We had a great time at this riad. Our room was very small, but it had a nice bathroom and it was clean. The service was good and the breakfast simple but ok with bread, jam and cheese, and also a pancake! The location of the riad is very Central, in the Souk area, just 3 minutes of the Djema El Fna; the big square. It was rather Cold in the hotel when we stayed, but i Guess that comes for all riads at this time of year (January). All in all a nice riad!

Rett ved Jemaa el Fna
Riad Marrakiss ligger i en rolig bakgate, kort vei fra souk'en og den store plassen Jemmaa el Fna. Hotellet er veldig sjarmerende, rommene fine og personalet hjelpsomt. Kan absolutt anbefales!

Bra Marokkansk opplevelse!
Veldig bra beliggenhet, kun 5 minutter til the Square. Få gjerne noen til å vise vei, for det er ikke lett å finne hvis du ikke er kjent (som alle andre Riads). Lite hotell med kun 7 rom, og veldig sjarmerende, men rommene er veldig små, irriterende små (ihvertfall rom nr 4). Personale er hyggelig og yter god service. Eieren er opptatt av at gjestene skal trives. Takterassen er herlig med solsenger og med kun et svakt sus fra the Square.

Personale accogliente e disponibile, molto buona e abbondante la colazione. Posizione molto comoda a due passi da Jama al Fna e non troppo rumorosa. Pulizia della struttura e della camera molto buona. Ci ritorneremo!

Bonjour, Nous avons quitté le riad hier sans y passer la nuit et sans bénéficier du soit disant ptit dej qui était compris ! Le peu que j’ai vu m’a échaudée ! J’exige le remboursement, l’accueil a été catastrophique, le personnel nous regardait en chien de faïence sans jamais nous proposer un verre d’eau alors que nous étions essoufflés et tout rouge, j’ai demandé à 5 reprises à boire pour ma fille de 4 ans. Remboursez-moi, j’ai dû payer un Monsieur pour q’il m’aide avec mes bagages à quitter ce lieu pas très secure où des jeunes fument devant la porte du Riad.

Personnel très présent et aux petits soins. Tout était parfait. Seul petit bémol, la salle du petit déjeuner qui n’est pas très accueillante et il y faisait froid ( le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas…) Riad très bien situé mais très au calme néanmoins.

Muy escondido en un callejon
Muy escondido si no te llevan no lo encuentras ni de coña, llegamos por la noche y el taxi nos dejó en la otra punta pues por la plaza no puede pasar, se nos acerco una persona ue nos llevó al hotel ( previo pago claro) las habitaciones super pequeñas el baño peor todavía, la cama es una goma no colchón normal pero se duerme muy bien, no ponen nada de baño,champun ni geles, el secador hay que pedirlo y es casi de juguete, limpieza bien, el que te atiende no habla mucho aceptable, a mi me colaba el zumo todas las mañanas ya sin decirselo muy amable. Total lo único bueno que esta en toda la Medina sales del hotel coge el callejon y estas en la plaza. Marrakech una locura, si no te atropellan por la plaza, yo no volveré más. Aaa y no vayas a echarle fotos a nada que estén haciendo que se van a por ti para pedir y si no le das te echan, a mi me tiraron a la cara una paloma por grabar,y para ver el museo o encontrar cualquier cosa buscate a un guía al no ver Internet no encuentras nada, solo tiendas y cuidado con el guía también el nuestro era oficial pero te lleva a que te saquen los ojos en tiendas que el quiere

Great location in the Medina. Very easy to find and a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the local area. The staff were superb and the owner even slept in the property on our last night in order to make us breakfast earlier than usual because we had to leave early. Our only hiccup was the fact we ordered 4xTwin rooms and the property didn't cater for this despite me receiving confirmation (was this Hotels.com fault??). Not ideal for 8 lads when two of the rooms are doubles but they found an extra bed and we just about managed!! Nice rooms if a little dark but a very authentic riad.

hotel was basic,
hotel is located down a back street,near the market which has a lot to explore but at times you will be approached to buy their goods by street sellers who hard sale you to buying. The hotel is basic,bed and breakfast ,no TV, or mini bar but was clean,room was dark due to location.however the staff were polite and manager was eager to please which i could not fault.

Great Riad close to Jemaa el-Fna
Had a really good stay at Raid Marrakiss last week. The location of the Riad is excellent! You will be in Jemaa el-Fna in a short 3 minute walk. I looked at other properties that were further away, and I'm really glad that I stayed here due to the close proximity to the square, and plentiful restaurants in the area. Josef and his staff were most accommodating, questions answered, tips etc. The area around the Riad is safe, the alleyway to the Riad is dark, but never felt uncomfortable walking solo at night. Do watch for a pack of young boys that wanted their photo taken, and could have been pick-pockets. Just give a firm NO, and keep walking. Although it woke you up at 0616, the call to prayer was really interesting to hear!

Sehr zentral und trotzdem eine Oase der Ruhe
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr zentrale Lage und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Dachterrasse ist einfach wunderbar. Der Blick über Marrakesch ist zu jeder Tageszeit atemberaubend. Besonders beeindruckt sind wir von der Gastfreundschaft sowohl im Hotel, als auch in der Stadt selbst. Wir sind begeistert und können jedem einen Städtetrip nach Marrakesch ins Riad Marrakiss wärmstens empfehlen. Zudem lohnen sich auch Ausflüge in die Berge oder die Wüste, Küste etc...

Leuke sfeer, WiFi in de lobby, schone kamers, behulpzaam personeel. Wel vrij koud in de kamer/lobby in de winter, maar er is airco/verwarming aanwezig in de kamer. Alles dicht bij restaurants en winkeltjes, op een paar minuten lopen van het El Fnaa plein.

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in deze Riad, Jozef heeft ons een warm welkom gegeven, heerlijk bakje thee bij ons ontvangst. de kamers waren voor ons perfect voor het aantal dagen. de locatie was voor ons perfect in de medina alle leuke winkeltjes in de buurt.

Unbeatable central Small Riad.
Yards from the Souk, but a peaceful haven. Good in all ways. Staff very good. If you want to be close to the busy street life, but peaceful at night,,,,,, don't forget you will be called to prayers anywhere in the centre of the City, but you will get used to it, and quickly drop back to sleep.

Gia soggiornato due anni fa in questo Riad, ottima location, molto caratteristica in stile marocchino. Grande pulizia, personale estremamente cortese, colazione nella norma e prezzo assolutamente conveniente. Il riad è in una stradina tranquillissima, a pochi passi dalla caotica piazza Jeema El Fna, cuore di Marrakech.

Gute Lage
Gute Lage in Nähe des Place Djema El Fna. Riad ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal nett und bemüht. Leider ist das Frühstück sehr einfallslos. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Riad befindet sich eine Moschee, nach Sonnenaufgang ist es dann mit der Nachtruhe vorbei und man könnte glauben, dass der Muezzin direkt neben dem Bett zum Gebet ruft.

Schönes Riad ganz in der Nähe des Djemaa el Fna
Das Hotel liegt ganz zentral im Herzen der Medina. Es ist in einer ruhigen Gasse gelegen, aber trotzdem nur wenige Meter vom Trubel der Souks entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und wirklich schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher ebenfalls täglich gewechselt. Ein Highlight ist auch die Dachterrasse, von welcher man einen tollen Blick über die Dächer der Stadt hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war landestypisch und wurde im Hof des Riads unter freiem Himmel serviert. Alle Räume hatten eine Klimaanlage, die wir jedoch nicht benötigten, da wir im Dezember dort waren.

Perfect Riad in Marrakech
After my third trip in three years, I still want to go back again!! Marrakech is a special magical place and should be seen and experienced by everyone. Every corner turned, especially in the souks, brings a new exciting happening. From snake charmers to street acrobats to story tellers to street food to constant bartering to freshly squeezed fruit juices - there are surprises all around.

I did not like the fact that Ihad to walk down a dark alley to get to the Hotel. The beds were very hard The wifi did not work in the bedrooms No TV The breakfast was just hard bread and jam with triangle cheese and Mint tea The only good thing was the guys had nice smiles and they tried their best to please.

Excellent séjour dans ce riad très calme situé à quelques minutes de la Place Jemaa El Fna. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et la décoration est soignée pour un prix très abordable. On y est très bien accueilli, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du gérant (et du personnel) permettent de passer un séjour plus qu'agréable. Les services et les prestations sont de qualité et tout est fait pour satisfaire le client. Je retournerai dans ce riad sans aucune hésitation lors d'un prochain voyage à Marrakech. Mme M. Sehr zentral und emphelenswert!
Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Riads ist genial zentral, zudem verfügt es über eine kleine, aber feine Terrasse. Das Frühstück ist landestypisch und wird frisch serviert. Ein Riad mit nur sieben Zimmer hat ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ist sehr emphelenswert für eine reine Städtetour.

l'hotel si trova in una posizione centralissima e nonostante si trova nel souq è tranquillissimo, essenziale ma pulito e con personale molto disponibile e cortese. La colazione non è abbondantissima ma nel complesso buona. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo per cui lo consiglio.

Très joli riad a deux pas de la place Jemaa El Fna
Très bon accueil de la part des deux réceptionnistes, toujours aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Le riad est très propre, rien ne nous a manqué pendant notre séjour. Il est situé dans une ruelle ombragée très calme, au cœur du souk Kessabine. J'y retournerai sans hésiter!

Very pleasant stay
Stayed for 5 days in this small intimate and very quiet Riad, just 7 rooms. For couples 1,5,6,7 are the best, 3 is the least desirable. Staff is very friendly, helpful and available 24 hours. Breakfasts were ample and good. Like all Riads, there is a nice terasse. Clean, towels were changed daily. I would return

Lovely Riad right in the beating heart of Marakech
A peaceful idyll inside but just a few minutes from the souks & square. Comfortable ,cool rooms & courtyard, pretty sun terraces with views of the city & distant mountains. Wifi best in the courtyard (with free mint tea!). Aziz & Az-eddine couldn't have been more friendly ,helpful or courteous. A breakfast of pancake, apricot jam, bread & cheese, orange juice, tea or coffee served promptly on arrival in dining room & was offered early on day of trip & early departure. I was delighted to have room 5 which has a little sun terrace just outside. Tip- you will need to use the shower hose for hot water in the basin & take your own plug. Aziz has a hairdryer you can borrow.

Small, peaceful inn near main square.
Staff were very helpful. Comfortable rooms; a relaxing place near the maelstrom of Jemaa el fna. Booked for five days, but ended up staying for eight! Ryanair cancelled the return flight ! So we are still in Marrakech!

Good hotel very close to main square
We were a family of 5, our children are in their 20's. The hotel suited us perfectly being so close to the main action. Ali was very helpful and organised for a taxi to and from the airport.

Clean, peaceful, relaxing.
Lovely riad right by the main square in the Medina. lovely cosy room, clean, with hot water, en suite, comfy bed and a safe and air con in the room. Very peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was bread, jam butter, pancakes, coffee/tea and orange juice. Very good for our price range and the location is brilliant, as it is very quiet once inside the riad, you cannot hear any noise from the main square. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went as a couple and were given plenty of freedom, no questions asked and a key to the main door so we had access at all times.

Helt ok Riad. Dock inte så fint som på bilderna, små rum med hårda sängar men otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam personal och ett helt perfekt läge med nära till allt. Mysig takterass och enkel men god frukost.

Riad is clean friendly staff very quite for location, as it is 5 mins walk from main square el fna and the souks. do except to be woken at 5.30 am for the call to prayer. taxis cannot go up street you will have to walk from square and more than likely have someone show where to go for a small price of course.

Very short walk from the central square; very helpful hotel staff. Got very good deals for excursions with help from the reception staff. Hotel is in an old traditional Riad, with rooms of relatively small size, reasonably clean. Wifi only works within 10-15 yards of reception.

the Riad was hidden away down an alley way which took us a while to find. I would recommend printing a more detailed map than the hotel provides as we ended up asking several people until a guy led us there and then asked for money. The Riad itself was lovely! Very friendly staff who greeted us with some Moroccan tea before showing us our room. The room was very basic but clean and had heating/air con. The shower wasn't fixed onto the wall properly but it was a big shower and hot so we didn't mind. The Riad had a really nice roof terrace where you can go and relax, even in January it was really warm up there and nice and quiet. All in all it was a very good place to stay in the heart of Marrakech. I would recommend anyone to stay there!
