Spacious, quiet, comfortable
My friends and I weren't able to book two consecutive nights in Yosemite, so we booked a one night stay at this property for our last night on the trip. It was very comfortable, warm, and quiet after a long day of hiking in the rain and cold. It's about an hour drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Clean, straightforward check in and check out, and the hosts were communicative, although we didn't require any assistance during our stay.

Snowy Yosemite stay
April vacation here for a couple of nights and received about a foot of snow, very beautiful and glad we had four wheel drive. Nicely kept cabin. Central location to Mariposa. Comfy beds. Thanks!

A cozy retreat

Great Cabin!
Great cabin. Well kept. Owners are fantastic. Third bedroom is really a study. Owners need to check into faster Internet as it is painfully slow, especially on uploads. Overall a wonderful week.

Family get together
Well maintained property. Hosts thought of everything one may need for a comfortable stay. Living area/kitchen is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Outside areas perfect for family fun. The gentleman that opened the hat for us was very nice. One thing I did notice was that other guests left some condiments, groceries. We needed an ingredient and noted that it was out dated. Hosts may need to go thru leftover items and discard the outdated ones.

Log cabin in the Sierras
Charming cottage in a lovely neighborhood. Property was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen and laundry were well stocked. Anytime we had a question the host was very prompt in their response to any questions . The location is convenient to Yosemite as well as Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Thanks Todd family for hosting us!

Beautiful log cabin
This cabin was very clean, well stocked, and very peaceful. The location is ideal considering there’s not much outside Yosemite. The owner is very responsive, if you have any issues. The cabin has video games, board games, and plenty of firewood for those cold nights. We will definitely be returning.

Great place!
Perfect distance from Yosemite - we went in the Arches entrance one day so the drive was in the valley along the river then the South Entrance another day which was in the mountains. Wish the 2nd bedroom was bigger so it could have a regular bed instead of bunkbeds but the rest of the cabin was terrific!

Crisp & Cozy
Cabin was exactly as advertised. Easy access, Mornings were beautiful and Yosemite was, as always, spectacular. On site owner was not needed, but comforting. Everything was just as portrayed if not more.

Cabin First timers
We have been in the are in past but first time Ina cabin. I love the outdoors and country feel. Used the wood burning fireplace and kept the living room very toasty and warm. everything was there at our fingertips and even the outdoor bbq grill was fun!

The cabin was exactly as described. A beautiful 3-bedroom place to hang your head after a long day at Yosemite. I would happily rent this cabin again, but next time I would stay longer. The hosts were helpful. You get exactly what is described.

Fairly new cabin. Well maintained and clean. Well stocked with appliances and supplies. Labels with directions were very helpful. Outdoor spaces were pleasant. It’s obvious that the owner takes pride in the property!

Great location for a Yosemite trip
We were looking for forever to stay that was close to Yosemite without being right in Yosemite. We needed to still have reliable wifi for school and work, and this place gave us that. We drove about an hour to get to the Yosemite valley and about the same to get to Mariposa Grove. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Our kids loved having a Wii bowling tournament and playing horseshoes outside. At night we went outside to star gaze thanks to the low light pollution in the area. We went into town to explore and my kids enjoyed the comic book store and eating at the Happy Burger. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone planning to go to Yosemite. But just a heads up, I would say it sleeps five, not six, because the futon is a full size and a tight fit unless you are using it for two small kids.

This cabin is so much more than what we expected, OMG talk about pride, the interior was so meticulously designed and clean, all the amenities were top class. The only negative was that there were some cob webs on the outside of the cabin, I just didn’t want to leave.

Loved the cabin and views but the 45 mins to Yosemite gate plus the long wait in line to get in even leaving early was a headache especially with small children who get impatient in the car seat. In total it was 2 hours to get in the park

This log cabin is very well maintained and fully furnished with charming decor. It is located about 1.5 hrs from the Arches Yosemite gate. We were 3 couples and this house is better suited for families with kids. The futon bed in the study was very small for two people and the third bedroom has bunk beds. The master bedroom was lovely with a huge en-suite bathroom. The only comment was the AC vent in the master bdrm is located in the ceiling above the head of the bed making it drafty and noisy during the night. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances. The owners provided a lot of nice touches such as menus from nearby restaurants, a computer with Wi-Fi, books and games. On the downside, I never received any communication from the owner up to the day before our check in so after messaging through Expedia and VRBO, I called him on his cellphone. He gave me the code for the front door and despite living on the same property, never had any other contact with Bob. I texted him to keep him apprised of our arrival time and when we were checking out but never got any response at all which is unusual compared to other rentals I’ve done in the past.

Great House and Property
Everything was very clean and well stocked with amenities and decorated nicely and in a way that reflected the style and area. Hosts were great. My only two pieces of feedback is the mattress in the Master in very squeaky and even loud when moving around. The other is for 4 adults, the bunk beds didn't work. Also, it was confusing in the write up that the futon in the office was the 3rd bedroom. The pocket doors didn't close all the way so not very private. Thanks for a nice stay.

Fantastic Mountain Cabin
The cabin was fantasic! It was well-equipped and was close to Yosemite National Park. We went to Yosemite for two days. The first day was overcast and the second day was sunny. Great photographic opportunities under different lighting conditions.

Absolutely perfect
This cabin is phenomenal. It's clean, comfortable, and includes everything you'd need (from laundry detergent to propane for the grill to a chess set and puzzles). Bob gave us the great time to get to Yosemite early or be stuck in terrible traffic, and he was completely right. Thank you for saving us from hours of sitting in traffic to enter the park! Just a peaceful and perfect place to unplug and spend time together with all of the comforts of home. Truly wonderful!!

Yosemite stay with bonus Mariposa festival
We enjoyed the property very much . It is in a quiet location and had most everything we needed . The house is very clean and comfortable . We had trouble starting the fire without kindling. We managing to cut some and gathered some while ground was dry .

Beautiful, clean house on quiet lot with lovely outdoor area. My kids enjoyed playing the wii while we enjoyed the quiet. Super close to Yosemite. We will definitely be back.
