«My wife and I are considering moving to SW Virginia and have spent increasingly more time there. We loved the location of the Blue House as well as the house itself. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, open and spacious. Abbey and Ron have done a fantastic job on the house and are gracious hosts. Check in and check out were simpler than any hotel. «Great location. Nice to hear Big Wilson Creek in the evening. Enjoyed seeing some good sized trout in the stream, but left my flyrod at home. Lucky fish. Saw several species of birds and heard more. We love blueberry picking in nearby Grayson Highlands State Park. We worked hard for our berries, but they are worlds better tasting than domestic berries and fun to pick. «The pictures do not do this property justice. Book this place now, you won’t regret it! There is not much in this area to go and do but we just wanted 2 days away from EVERYTHING so it was perfect! Would also suggest 4 wheel drive to get to the location. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning.»
