Millstone on the Millpond

You will fall in love with this unique mid century industrial home located on 6 miles of spring fed water. This is a brand new home loaded with amenities. 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with large living, dining, and kitchen area. 500 sq foot completely furnished private dock . Once here you will never want to leave. We are located just 110 foot off of the water with gorgeous views from 36 foot of glass in the front room. The house includes kayaks and canoes, fire pit, and fully stocked kitchen. Every bedroom has its own smart tv, and I the living boasts a large 55 inch tv. But with all of the wildlife and things to see, you likely won’t have time to watch anything. We have seen otters, foxes, bob cats, deer, owls, and many of the local native birds. We hope you come to join us soon. Oh!! And 3 nights is never enough- check out the reviews!

Beautiful waterfront property
This is a beautiful property right on the water. I stayed with my husband and two kids ages 9 and 10. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, kayaking and fishing. A few passing storms caught us and we were able to sit and play some games inside. House is equipped with everything you need. If we find ourselves back in the area we would stay again.

Wonderful stay for family!
I reserved the house for my 2 sons and their families who were in Marianna for our 50th wedding anniversary! The house is stunning! The owner has thought of everything you might need while staying there. The house is beautifully furnished! There are games, kayaks, a great dock and ample room to play a game of football! A great deck overlooks the Mill Pond! The entire back of the house has sliding glass doors that provide a wonderful view! There are plenty of areas to simply sit back and relax. If we could give the property 10 stars we would! Looking forward to reserving it again for a December wedding!

Perfect in every way…
This property is amazing! From the ever attentive owner making sure you have all that you need to the peaceful solitude of reading a book on the dock listening to birds while surrounded by trees full of Spanish Moss…. We will definitely be trying to book here again next year and telling everybody they should make it a must stay at some point!

Exceptional Host and Home
This home is the "homeiest" place we have ever booked! I am 45 years old, but for some reason I kept coming back to the feeling I had when I would come home from college for a weekend. My mom would make sure everything was perfect and you could tell she was excited to have me home! That was exactly how this felt! It was decorated so nicely for Thanksgiving. every room was spotless and well appointed, I think it would be impossible to name an item you needed in the kitchen that wasn't available. And of course the property itself is gorgeous. My husband loved it, my 12 & 13 year old loved it and our Sheepadoodle thought it was great too! He even made friends with the cat that I think was part of the property-or we hope so bc we fed him the cat food in the pantry! lol I do want to point out that they are not joking when they say the driveway is steep, so be prepared! My only complaint is this is not our permanent residence. :)

Perfect for Us
This home exceeded all our expectations. As three couples who like to bring our own kayaks to paddle in the lakes, swamps, creeks and rivers of panhandle Florida, this home was perfect. In addition to being on the Mill Pond, it is situated in the center of the area in which we planned day trips, and its floor plan provided adequate privacy (the Jack and Jill bathroom is the best-designed one I've ever seen) and both indoor and outdoor gathering space for our group. The kitchen was high-end, well organized, and made preparing meals in the evening a pleasure instead of a chore. We found everything we needed to prepare our meals, and store our leftovers. The oversized refrigerator was great for our purposes, and the stand-alone ice maker was nice to have, too. Our host checked in from time to time, and quickly answered any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't praise Millstone enough, although I'm afraid if I do it will be booked when I'm ready to come back!

Beautiful property
I stayed 3 nights. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is a beautiful house with incredible views of the pond. It was incredibly clean and very inviting. It would be a perfect family vacation. There is a really nice dock with furniture on the water, a canoe and kayaks. The kitchen is gorgeous, and everything you need is supplied. The owner is very nice and responded quickly to all of my questions. Very helpful. I will definately book this house if I have the opportunity to return to the area.

Great place to stay!
We were very pleased with our stay at Millstone at Mill Pond. The house was clean and located in a private setting. Kerri, our host, was very accommodating to our needs and concerns. We went during the fall, so we were not able to fully utilize all the outdoor activities and amenities that the house had to offer, such as the fire pit and all the kayaks/canoes. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Family Spring Hunting
My family and I had such an amazing time staying at this beautiful house! We are spring hunters and we’re on vacation to see the springs in the area. It was so exciting to walk out the back door, get in kayaks (provided) and paddle up to Jackson Blue and explore the banks to find many other beautiful springs! The paddle is an easy one both ways. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need, Kerri is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. She even helped me sharpen my parking skills! Beautiful memories were made here with my family!

Book here for a GREAT place to stay!
I stayed here with my family and 2 grandkids. Total of 6 and the house was perfect for us. The pictures just don’t do it justice. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and every bedroom had a tv. The kitchen was better stocked than my own with coffee and condiments, spices, etc! House is definitely newer and clean and so tastefully decorated. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and a lot of kayaking! The scenery was so beautiful and peaceful that I’m definitely looking at going back! This is one of my favorite places to stay! Kerri was a great host and quick to answer any questions or requests!

Millstone is truly a wonderful property and home. This is simply the best stocked home I've ever rented. It had so many things in the home that are usually left for a traveler to buy upon arrival. The home itself is stylish and the spaces are well planned. The remarkable location, water views, and access to the water make this property a unique find that is worth a trip to visit.

Millpond Weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed the Millpond house. It was exactly as advertised. In face, it was better. Beautiful interior with everything you need to enjoy your state. The setting was beautiful. Kerri and her husband could not have been nicer. She answered every question. A highlight was being able to enjoy the firepit thanks to the outdoor chairs they delivered. We had a GREAT weekend and we look forward to staying at the Millpond again!

Amazing House in an Awesome Location!
I run a documentary film production company and we do location shoots all over the world. We have a small team and we usually rent a house (often through VRBO) so we can all stay in a nice place, with common areas, a kitchen, etc. because it's so much nicer than hotel rooms. This wonderful home is one of the best we have ever rented. Never mind that it's brand new, wonderfully located, and beautifully furnished, the owners have also equipped the kitchen well for cooking (so often not the case in vacation rental properties). I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this home, the dock, and the location on the lake. Kerri the owner is super helpful and delightful. You can't go wrong with this house, and rent yourself a boat at Cave Adventurers up the pond! We plan to be back!

Our stay in The Millstone was wonderful. Communication with the owners was great. The house was clean with all the amenities to cook. There were kayaks to use (even youth size kayak too). We will definitely go back.
