«When my wife picked out this unit, I had reservations because it is downstairs. Despite being downstairs, there are views of the Cheticamp harbor from 2 bedrooms and it is extremely well furnished, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, well designed and well maintained. «I really enjoyed meeting Giselle and Karl, they were welcoming and warm hosts who are also very knowledgeable on the history of and events in Cheticamp. I loved the location, easily accessible, and only about 10 minutes away from the entrance to the National Park. It was so easy to visit many different parts of the Highlands from this location. «My husband and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very convenient to the Cabot trail and had beautiful views of the mountains of Margaree Valley. The cabin was secluded and quiet. «This home was a great location in the Margaree. We were able to enjoy time with friends while being central to many fishing pools. The home was well equipped with outdoor furniture and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 8 (minus a dishwasher for clean up). «We based out of Cheticamp for the 3rd stop of a 3 part Nova Scotia family vacation and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! So many beds/ bedrooms that we all had our space, and a fabulous upstairs sitting area with full windows and view of the st Lawrence and a family of seals. «Confusion on date of check-in @ 5pm, having to wait for a team to arrive to prepare it for us, but we’re fairly compensated for it. Three bedrooms with pull out couch in living room, but the third bedroom had wash/dryer & hot water tank in it. It had everything we needed, but could have been a lot cleaner. The views are breathtaking.»
