Great place to stay with the family!

This property has it all ! Great location for fishing both the Gulf and Atlantic side. Plenty of dock space with water and electric and fish cleaning table. The house is clean with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a pullout couch to sleep our family of 5 comfortably. The downstairs area is great with the pool, covered entertaining area with pool table, dart board and ring hook game to keep everyone happy during those afternoon rain showers. We had a great time and look forward to staying here again. There also is a bait freezer and a nice big Weber grill. The big ice maker down stairs was not working that was the only thing that was wrong. I highly recommend this property and host!

This vacation rental in Marathon was so perfect, I’m convinced it was designed by Jimmy Buffett and Poseidon during happy hour.The house? Immaculate. Spacious. Stocked. We walked in and immediately thought, “Yup, we’re not leaving.” I’ve stayed in hotels that didn’t have pillows this nice. The location? Smack in the middle of paradise. Water so close, I almost cast a line from the living room. (Wife wasn’t thrilled.)We booked offshore fishing and absolutely crushed it. Mahi everywhere. At one point I wasn’t sure if I was reeling in a fish or just pulling the boat closer to the buffet. Even the fish were cooperative—must’ve heard how great the kitchen was back at the rental.The neighbors? Legends. Friendly and laid-backBest part? Everything just worked. No weird smells. No broken doorknobs. No mystery switches. Just good vibes, big fish, and enough frozen drinks to forget what day it was.Already planning our return. If you rent this place, please treat it well… we’re basically co-parents now.

We felt so at home here. Loved everything about the layout and location. First time having a pool for a keys vacation and it was a game changer. Hosts were accessible and responsive. Would love to rent again someday!

Great property convenient to everything!

My husband and I and our pup had a great time at Fisherman’s paradise. The pool was very nice and clean and the house itself was spotless. Located in a quiet safe neighborhood but literally all that we needed was within 10 minutes of the house. Nancy was an awesome very responsive and friendly host. The only thing we missed was having our own boat there. Also highly recommend going to have a meal or get fresh fish from this place Brutus. Right around the corner and was the best meal we had!

Not made for cold weather

This is a nice property with a great location to everything in Marathon. We happened to be here in the cold spell and had no heat. Luckily Nancy told us about the space heater. I told her days ahead about the cold weather coming and the heat not working. She insisted it did. When putting the unit on heat and jacking up the temp it would actually get colder in the house. You can run the kitchen sink for 5 minutes before getting luke warm water. The sinks in the bathrooms would heat up much faster. She blamed this on cold weather. I asked others in the neighborhood. They had no problems. The kitchen sink stopper would not hold water. Her answer was she ordered a new one. Great for the next guy. All I got from Nancy was lip service no physical results. Special thanks to the person that left the space heater. Temp in house was 62 when we left.

Everything in Marathon

The family decided we wanted to spend the holidays in the Florida Keys, but were unsure where to stay. Looking at all the options we settled on Marathon and this house was everything we were looking for. The heat pool was definitely the highlight of our stay. Plenty of room for 4 adults and our family dog. The location was close enough to restaurants, shops and stores that everything seemed 5-10 minutes away, but still far enough off the main track that we felt like we had the peace and quite we needed to disconnect and relax. Don't know if/when we'll be back in the keys, but we hope this house will be available when we go!

Seamless Stay at Marathon Key

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at this property in Marathon Key, Florida was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was the easiest we've ever experienced. The instructions were clear, and we were able to settle in quickly and start enjoying our vacation right away. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and we were very impressed with how well-maintained everything was. It was clear that the owners take great pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. One of the highlights for us was the ease of docking our boat. The property had excellent facilities for boaters, making it incredibly convenient for us to explore the beautiful waters around. What really stood out to us was the responsiveness and accommodation of the owners. They were always quick to answer any questions we had and made sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. And to top it all off, we were thrilled to find out that this property is dog-friendly! Our fur-baby had a wonderful time exploring the area with us, and we appreciated being able to include our four-legged family member in our vacation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Marathon Key. Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful retreat!

We had an incredible stay at this Vrbo property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was designed with guests' comfort and convenience in mind. The ice machine was a game-changer, ensuring we had a steady supply of ice for our drinks and cooler. The bait freezer was a fantastic bonus, making our fishing trips hassle-free. And the pool? Simply outstanding! It was crystal clear, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. 5 min. ride to the gulf - ice machine was a huge plus as was the COVERED filet table and deep freezer! Pool table got a ton of use too! Nancy was super responsive with the very few needs we had before and during our 2 week stay. Will def return!!!!

Brother’s Fishing Trip

Perfect location and property for a week long brother’s fishing trip. Clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, that had everything we needed including a crock pot. The pool, outdoor pool table, gas grill, commercial ice maker and large outdoor freezer were the fan favorites. The private boat slip was nice, although we didn’t have a boat this trip, we would consider one next time. It is truly a fisherman’s paradise and a property we’d definitely rent again. Cheers!

Relax, Swim and Enjoy

Excellent communication with the host. Easy access to the property. Enjoyed the pool, outdoor bbq and pool table. It was definitely as it was described. A fisherman’s delight with the canal leading to the ocean. The only minor improvement to be made would be providing extra toilet paper for a week stay and maybe trash bags. It was suggested by the host to buy your own at the nearby dollar tree store. Overall, the property was well maintained and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Nancy! Side note: Warning to anyone who doesn’t live in the south, bug spray is a MUST! The mosquitoes and No-see-ums were horrible. Our bites were numerous so we definitely were schooled in the need for essential oils.

Knot-ical Adventure!

Truly a home-away-from-home! The check-in process was stream-less and so efficient. The host was immediately available by email and text for questions about the property and area. The amazing heated pool was a HUGE bonus. The topper on the cake was the canal access to the Gulf of Mexico- literally 2 minutes by boat. And the public launch was less than a mile from the house and a quick 10-15 mins up the coast directly to the back door. Lots of premium extras too- the electric hook up for the boat and an amazing commercial ice maker for your fresh catch or to keep food cold on the boat. Absolutely amazing stay!

Perfect for 2 couples

Property was perfect for four adults with a boat. Very clean and neat, and kitchen was the cleanest I have ever seen! Although baths are a bit outdated, there's plenty of hot water - merely some gold tarnished fixtures. Pool is clean, ice machine fantastic and the outdoor billiard table lots of fun. Matress on full'size bed a little saggy, and fans would be great on lower level. Highly recommend!

Repeat stay

This was our second stay at Fishermans Paradise, and wont be the last. The house is wonderful, the pool is wonderful, and access to bay and ocean is excellent. The ice maker is a huge plus. Thanks Nancy for a great trip again!
