Walk to Sombrero Beach!

The physical address to the house is 445 Sombrero Beach Road. Apple maps locates the house correcly but google maps doesnt. Come stay, fish, snorkel, relax in the pool, walk to Sombrero Beach. Enjoy a beautiful sunset from the pool, balconies, living room or master bedrooms! This newly constructed and professionally furnished 5 bedroom 5 bath villa is the perfect vacation retreat. All bedrooms except one has an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have flat screen TV with a robust channel package with Xfinity. Elevator access to all floors makes for a leisurely relaxing stay.
Ground Floor
Second Master with King Bed, ensuite bath, kitchenette, view of pool and water. It also has a couch with a Queen pull out bed. Views of the pool, water, and sunset from the bedroom our just outside under the covered lanai.
1st Floor
Open floor plan with chefs kitchen, dining area and living room. Views of the pool, sunset and water from living room, kitchen, dining room and balcony!
The single bedroom on the first floor has a bunk bed with a queen on bottom and twin on top. Its located next to the full bathroom for the main living area.
2nd Floor
Huge master suite with king bed, private master balcony, extra large walk in closet ensuite bath, views of the pool, water, sunset from the master and balcony.
Bedroom 4 contains a king bed and ensuite bath. Bedroom 5 has a queen bed and an ensuite bath as well!
Like to fish? Bring your boat or rent one so you can get out on the and enjoy the water. Owners of this villa are avid fishermen of they keys and will provide fishing advise and gps coordinates of local hot spots and sandbars to enjoy. The dock is able to accommodate 2 boats up to 40' in length. 110V power and water at the dock along with a fish cleaning station.
3 bicycles in the garage, beach chairs furnished, and 2 kayaks for your enjoyment. There is even a 400lb commercial ice maker in the garage to ice your boat down without having to go into town to the ice machine everyday! The chest freezer in the garage can store your catch and bait for the duration of your stay. We want you to have the best vacation you've ever had right here in our little slice of paradise!
The property has room for 3 vehicles in the driveway/garage and a 70’ overflow parking space next to the house for additional cars or boat trailers.
Please check the pet fee during checkout if you plan to bring pets. The pet fee is $200.00 per pet with a 2 pet maximum. VRBO does not have the option to add more than one pet. We will confirm your pet details at booking and adjust the pet fee for you.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this rental is. First the host is fantastic, friendly, responsive, and a wealth of knowledge about restaurants, fishing, and activities. Next, location, location, location! My family has visited the Keys for Xmas for 20 years this was by far our best experience location wise. Finally the house itself is incredible. Great beds, pillows, space, amenities! Kitchen is completely outfitted with whatever you need. We cooked a formal Xmas dinner for 11 easily. This is the one you want to book!

We had a wonderful time staying in Marathon. The house provided everything we needed and was in pristine condition. If you want to have the perfect vacation experience than this is the house for you.The sombrero beach is so close and the kajaks coming with the house make it easy to have some nice trips.

Jeff and his team were amazing throughout our stay, quick to respond and had many recommendations for local places to eat. The home was perfect for our family and friends. This was one of my most memerable annual family vacations to the Keys over the last 37 years and I have already secured our rental with Jeff for next year. Marathon Vacation

We had the best family vacation in the Florida Keys! The location on Marathon was ideal. This house had everything that we could ask for. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was great. The kitchen and grills made meals a piece of cake. The icemaker was a life saver! We had many manatee visitors, sharks sightings and fish caught high off of the dock. We went sky diving in Key West, our daughter swam with dolphins at the dolphin research center, and we chartered a boat for a couple of days. Jeff was super helpful with restaurant suggestions. The time that we were able to spend with our children was priceless and our stay at this house was made everything easy.

Fantastic Property and Host

The property is located in Marathon and close to both a Publix and Winn-Dixie. The Kitchen is also well equipped for those nights that you want to eat in. There is also no shortage of restaurants and local places to eat within a short drive. The home was a great layout for our family with a great dock and quick access to the Atlantic by boat. After a day out boating it also has a nice pool with deck and grill for a relaxing evening.The host Jeff is also great and adds numerous special touches to make sure your trip is enjoyable. Strongly recommend this home if you are interested in staying in the Marathon area and close to Sombrero Beach.

Just As Advertised!!

My wife and our entire family stayed for the week. This place is just as advertised and has plenty of room for our family of nine. We brought our boat, and it was a short drive to the fishing and diving grounds. When we returned in the afternoons from fishing or diving, the whole family would migrate to the pool.Jeff and Amber were terrific hosts and stayed in communication throughout the week. I've never had hosts that were as responsive and hospitable as they were. We plan on being back next year!

Amazing place for a Marathon vacation! And, wheelchair accessible!

There is not one thing I would change with this property!! We had the best week vacationing with 3 families ages 2-72. The view is beautiful!The house is immaculate. The furnishings are incredibly comfortable, including ALL the beds! Seriously, this place has the best beds in every room! The kitchen is fully stocked with quality appliances & accessories. The pool was perfect.The dock access was great for our boat & a rental pontoon. The ice machine in the garage was very convenient for fishing. We enjoyed seeing all the sea life from the dock with some pretty spectacular Manatee shows daily!!! The elevator worked perfectly for wheelchair access to all levels. The ramp in the garage was maybe not ada guidelines but worked great for us.The bedrooms, doorways & most of the bathrooms are accessible. The walk to Sombrero beach was pleasant even with toddlers. Multiple delicious restaurants were a short drive.The host Jeff was more than knowledgeable about all things Marathon & happy to share it with us. He checked in a few times to ensure our time was perfect & it was! This is not some cookie cutter place. The owners have made it a home away from home in paradise!

Perfect family vacation

This was a perfect spot for our annual family gathering. There was plenty of room for seven adults, and the elevator was a super bonus for us since we are all over 55. The pool was very nice, and the view from all three levels is beautiful. The owners are terrific; they provided restaurant recommendations and gave us traffic updates for our drive home. Marathon is very convenient for exploring the various islands in the keys.

Family Spring break Trip

This house could not of been any better for our family. We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 8. It is beautiful and really set up for family time and also private time. We had a couple with2 children in the 1st level master. It had a king and queen fold out sofa and kitchen. The second floor bedroom was used by a couple and the 3rd floor was for another couple and there 2kids and then my husband and I in the 2nd master. The elevator in the house was awesome and made it easy to bring things in and out and to transfer between floors. The kitchen was well equipped with top notch appliances. The house is only a 10 minute walk to Sombrero beach and the pool is just great. The house is equipped with lots of beach chairs, towels and 2kayaks for the canal area off the pool. The house and area were very quiet. It is very convenient location to stores and restaurants. Jeff was an awesome host. He was so helpful with giving us suggestions on places to go and restaurants since we were very unfamiliar with the area. Any question we had on our stay were answered very quickly. Marathon was a great place to visit with lots to do and beautiful beaches and weather.

Absolute Paradise: A Month of Bliss

We just spent an incredible month at this stunning property and honestly, words can't fully capture how perfect it was. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The house itself was immaculate - spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were heavenly, with the softest pillows I've ever slept on!The location was unbeatable. Being just steps from the beach was a dream come true. The backyard was an oasis, complete with a private dock that was perfect for our boat. The pool was the ideal temperature, providing the perfect respite from the heat.The owner, Jeff, was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. He was incredibly communicative, responding promptly to any questions we had. He also provided us with valuable recommendations for local restaurants and nearby attractions, which greatly enhanced our vacation experience. His attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly welcome, sincerely a home away from home.We really appreciated the well-lit pedestrian path that parallels the road, especially during evening hours. It's ideal for leisurely strolls, jogging, or even cycling. The sunset was stunning both from the idyllic Sombrero Beach, and the third floor master bedroom.This property truly had everything we could have asked for. It was the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. We highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a memorable vacation experience.

Great Property in Marathon

The location of this place couldn't be better; close to the beach, grocery stores, fish markets, and great local restaurants. The rental was clean and well appointed. There were bedrooms for everyone and the common area had room for all. Jeff and Amber did a great job of checking us in, answering questions, providing restaurant recommendations, information about activities, etc. The garage was full of things to use such as bikes, beach chairs, wagon to take it all to the beach, coolers, and a great ice machine!! There is also a pile of beach towels available to use. Overall, we would recommend this place, and plan to stay here on our next trip to Marathon!!

New Years Getaway

House was fantastic and location was perfect! Brought our family and friends to Marathon for some boating and fishing to celebrate the New Year. House was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone to mingle and have some privacy! Great dock area and pool! Plenty of restaurants nearby! Loved our stay!

Great family trip/80th birthday celebration

House was beautiful, very clean, AWESOME ice machine, bikes/kayaks, kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable for 9 adults. Elevator made moving in/out a breeze. Excellent communication with the owner, readily available. The only negatives were a broken bathroom door in one of the small bedrooms (zero privacy between the bed and the toilet) and the pool umbrella was broken. Caught mahi and tuna from the boat we rented and caught a ton of fish from the dock (snapper, snook, nurse shark, etc). Able to walk to Sombrero Beach. There was everything for the beach/pool - cooler, chairs, beach towels, cart, floats, gas grill. Great views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Publix 2 min away. A/C worked great. Two refrigerators came in handy. Would definitely stay again.

Had another great week with family! The house and host are top notch, same as it was last year. The house has everything a large family could possibly need with plenty of space and well set up for a boating and fishing vacation. We will be back!!
