The Space:

Manzanita Cedar House is tucked away on a quiet residential street less than two blocks from downtown Manzanita. While close to everything Manzanita offers, this charming house offers plenty of peace just under a half-mile walk to the beach. The home's interior is sunny and welcoming, with classic hardwood floors, a red brick wood-burning fireplace, and an unpretentious, open floor plan for easy socializing. Take in a movie on the 47" TV with Roku streaming and a DVD player, or grab one of the many board games for some more interactive entertainment.



The family cooks will use the kitchen well and have all the usual appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, etc. There are plenty of pots and pans, dishes, and utensils to serve a group of hungry hikers or beachcombers. Bar stools line the built-in bar along the wall, while the large wood dining table is close by and seats eight.



There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub and shower on the main level. One bedroom is a queen and the other has two twin beds. This room is best for kids with a TV, DVD player, and even a fun custom doll house.



Upstairs, the spacious king bedroom has light-filled windows and vaulted ceilings. There is a large full bathroom close by with a tub and shower. The loft area has a rocking chair and bookcase with various books. There is also a queen-size futon in the loft for additional sleeping space. It's a great place to escape and enjoy peaceful reading.



This home's location is ideal for families with small children, adults, and older people. Manzanita is a great place for shopping, dining, or bike rides on the beach. The awe-inspiring hiking trails of Oswald West State Park are less than five miles to the north, with Cannon Beach's galleries and boutiques just ten miles further. Treat your loved ones to an exceptional retreat at the beach! Manzanita Cedar House is waiting to welcome you in, put your mind at ease, and make you feel at home in beautiful Manzanita, Oregon. This home can accommodate eight people, and one dog is welcome.

Getting Around:

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.



Interaction with Guests:

We will interact as little or as much as the guest likes.
