Hello and Welcome from Il Sonetto, an elegant apartment in the historic center of Mantova.
The fully restored apartment is located within a late 15th-century historic residence. It has been renovated with respect for its historic character and features elements from the past, modern amenities, artistic details, and carefully selected design, offering a unique experience of elegance and relaxation.

The apartment is fully equipped with high-quality fabrics, linens, towels, and kitchen textiles to ensure maximum comfort. Free cleaning services every two days (based on lenght of the stay). Additional services upon request complete the offering.

The bed features a high-end Italian mattress, 33 cm soft and supportive, designed to provide restful sleep. A selection of pillows is also available to meet each guest’s individual needs.

In keeping with the spirit of the apartment, there is intentionally no television: an invitation to take a genuine break from everyday routine. Guests are encouraged to slow down, relax, read a book, or listen to music peacefully. There is a turntable with records and a USB stick with music for every taste. For those who wish to stay connected, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available. (Eventually Google TV available upon request)

The apartment has a comfortable private entrance accessible from inside the residence. Guests staying longer also have the opportunity to be invited for tea or Aperitivo in the covered courtyard of the Residence, which is usually closed to the public. (Weather depending)

A private garage nearby offers a secure, closed park space for your vehicle.

Thanks to its central location, everything is easily reachable on foot: the Renaissance jewel Palazzo Te and its recently renovated public garden, the beautiful and less-visited Santa Teresa church, the splendid Basilica of Sant'Andrea, and numerous frescoed churches hidden along quiet streets.
Strolling through the heart of Mantova, you will reach the majestic Palazzo Ducale, one of the largest in Europe with over 500 rooms, or the elegant Palazzo d’Arco, rich in art and history.
