We stayed here for a family member's graduation from Kansas State. The house was very nice, appeared to be remodeled relatively recently. Lots of space for us with 6 adults and 2 kids under 5. Very clean, bathrooms were nice.
The stairs going down to the basement are a little steep and shallow, and the ceiling hangs low. We didn't have any issues, even with the young kids, but a few close calls.
It seemed like the house maybe hadn't been a vacation rental long because we noticed it was missing some things that we thought should be there, like saucepans and a toaster.
The only issue we had was the refrigerator in the kitchen was broken and in the process of being repaired under the lengthy warranty process. The host did tell us about this before we arrived so we did know about it, and 10 steps away by the back door was a backup refrigerator, but it did not seem to be cold enough. It was old (the sticker said 1999), the freezer door handle was missing, some guards on the shelves inside were missing, and the food we left in it overnight didn't seem as cold as it should be, even with the temperature control turned all the way "coldest." Nothing spoiled, but just felt cool and not cold. We ended up putting some food in the basement small fridge, which was cold enough. A little inconvenient, but not a huge deal.
Overall a good house for our graduation weekend.
