Upon arrival we waited for 20 minutes for the front desk staff to figure out our reservation, and then attempted to charge us again even though we prepaid. After much back and forth on the phone with her manager, she gave me keys and said she’d figure it out later. We went up to our room and had a hard time getting past the potent smell of weed in the hallway. We went into the room which was old and in need of maintenance but was clean. After resting we left to go to an event but accidentally left something in our room. When we tried to open the door, the room key would not work just 2 hours into our stay. We inquired at the desk and a different employee told us that we were checked out. I stood for another 20 minutes while they took my id again and figured it out. The next morning we attempted to take showers and no more than a trickle of water came out. The faucet appeared ancient and the caulk in the shower was moldy. At this point it was too late to request a different room. It was so bad we decided to just check out a day early. When we told the front desk we were checking out, the same woman who checked us in and tried to charge us twice commented that we were leaving early. I responded that it was so bad we couldn’t stay any longer. Nothing else was said and we didn’t even receive as much as an apology.
