«They were unable to locate my reservation because it was third party so I had to wait at the front desk at least 20 minutes just for them to pull my reservation. There was hair in the shower. You have to scan a qr code that has issues to pay for parking however there are almost no parking spots available. Checkout is at 11 and I was running about 5 minutes behind and was in the process of packing so that I could leave. Housekeeping started knocking and kept knocking until I got to the door ...

«There are basic hotels and then there is the Regency. The property is rundown and barely maintained. The tone was set as I pulled up to the property and the lighted sign on the building was flickering. The main lobby smelled of weed. The common areas look like they haven’t been painted in years. «The front desk attendant didn’t give me the warm welcome that other guest seemed to get. She was joking with the guest before me ( even mentioning she liked to make people laugh) but as I walked up the smile disappeared and she was all business. I had sit and wait for a room to become available so I was able to watch others check in. «The pool is small, and the towels in the pool area were never stocked. We had to ask for towels all 3 times we used it. Smoke detector was missing with wires hanging. I had to alert staff who didn’t take it as serious as it should be. Eventually someone found me a working smoke detector. The room was clean on the surface but smelled musty. «BED BUGS! I chose this hotel of the convenience for our tournament weekend, and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We found bed bugs in our room after already settling in. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Yes, the hotel switched us to another room, but once you find bed bugs, the damage is done. Instead of enjoying the weekend, we spent the rest of the trip stressed about our luggage, clothes, and possibly bringing bugs home with us. Travelers coming for events ...

«Check in was fast and easy. The decor and finishings are very modernized for the cost per night. No complaints about cleanliness- not to say it was perfect, but overall it was a very comfortable stay and we slept great. Breakfast was decent. Only scrambled eggs and link sausage was hot.»
