WON'T COME BACK TO ANY PROPERTIES MANAGED BY MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN RESERVATIONS.
Room is clean. However, the space is very old and very outdated. Furniture looks well past its years. Space is cold even with heat at max setting. When there is heat, it's uneven. Exhaust fan in bathroom makes loud and strange noise. Shower is warm and pressure is reasonable. Kitchen is efficient. WiFi is provided, both regular and 5G. However, NONE is working the entire time, even after the router being reset several times. Phone signal is weak in the unit.
Communication with staff is a MAJOR issue. No responses to my emails regarding issues inside the unit. The office is off-site, 2.5 miles away - that's not helpful. During peak checkout time (Sunday morning), there should be staff at the site to collect keys, or keys should be left in the units, so guests don't have to make to the trip to the office just to drop off the keys. When I called about option to leave the keys in the unit, a cold answer was "No, the keys have to be returned to the office for the housekeeping staff". Don't they need to go there to clean the unit right after that?
The whole reason for me to pay a premium to be closer to the ski lift so I can get to the lift quickly in the morning. But here, I had to drive down to the town to return the keys and then drive back up past where I was to get to the lift. Doesn't make any sense. If I had to drive to town, there are many cheaper and better choices.
