Old hotel, leak in our bathroom by the sink. Ok beds, clean otherwise. Had a pool and some sunbeds. Close to the river and sweet cafes and restaurants - 10min walk.

Hotell med god service og hyggelig betjening
Hotellet har hyggelig betjening og god service til en hyggelig pris. Fint uteområde med basseng. Savner solsenger i tilknyting til bassenget. Det er ett stykke å å gå til sentrum (ca. 1km.) Dersom vi besøker byen en annen gang vil vi nok se etter hotell som ligger nærmere og som har solsenger ved bassenget.

A lovely late thirties ‘design classic’ . what was remarkable was the original features, it was visually stunning !! The staff , from porters to management were helpful friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was spacious and well kept. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice The swimming pool was a welcome treat Near to Kampung Morten it was well positioned

Repeat stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka because the room is big and it is at convenient location with easy access to various places in Melaka. While the building is not new, it is well maintained and do not show its age (if you’re not fussy to only want to see things new). One thing though, it will be great if the hotel can do some electrical wiring to provide power supply points by the bedside.

Stayed in 2 of their family suites, and thought that they will be connected. In actual fact one suite has 2 bedrooms with connecting toilet. And each level has only one family suite, located so near to the lift that if you are a light sleeper you may not have your quality sleep. Though the rooms are not new, they are spacious enough, which is one of the reason for choosing this hotel. A distance away from Jonker Street, compared to a newer hotel down the road. Traffic a bit busy at times but still able to across without pedestrian crossing nearby. Finding food is not a issue here.

2 nights family stay
Booked family suite and stayed in room 306. Upon collecting the key card, twice could not enter and staff had to come up to manually open and then replace the batteries. Room window had holes and rainwater kept seeping through and loud noises. Need refurbishment done. Otherwise, service was fine.

Car parking a breeze. Checkin easy and very friendly. Room clean and spacious and not so old as some report. Internet simple and fast. However there was constant hammering during the night 12am to 3am. When I finally called reception he said he would check and call me back. Surprisingly the hammering ceased immediately but he never called back. This incident spoilt what was an enjoyable stay but I will not exclude this hotel from future stays in Melaka.

Amazing/satisfying stay ! Reception staffs are all very prompt/ polite and very professional, made the stay worthwhile. Special mention to Mr Brad, who processed my check-in, he was very accommodating & tactful. This hotel is spotlessly CLEAN! Thank you Bayview Hotel for a wonderful staycation!

My son and me almost drowned in a swimming pool. The pool has 4 section, 3ft,4ft,6ft & 8ft. The 3ft and 6ft section only separated by one floating line, suddenly drop from 3ft to 6ft, very very terrible. And no pool attendant.
