«This hotel is good but frankly overpriced (like most everything here). It is right on the beach, but the latter is small, rocky, and disappears during high tide. Rooms are decent, and the facilities are OK. Warning - the poll is tiny and parking, while available, is very cramped and you may need to use the annex lot. The complimentary continental breakfast isn't anything to write home about. Staff are pleasant enough, though YMMV. »

«It is an older property and they are doing renovations. The room was updated but every noise could be heard from hallway. The front desk was very helpful and nice. There was a nice coffee bar that made cappuccino. We were there for the OC marathon and they pulled out bananas and oranges early for runners »

«It was okay. Noisy but they provide earplugs because it's the city. I wasn't thinking about being near pch and the noise. It did have a stench but we opened the window and it aired out. I like that I didn't have to think about carrying around a room key because you can unlock the door with a code or your phone. I also like that there are options, with additional pay, to check out later. »

«This building was built in the 1890’s and they maintained the era in decorating. Very nicely done! Enjoyed the space and the staff were helpful and friendly. «The view was from the room was absolutely amazing and you are walking distance to all the cool restaurants and shops. That made it all worth it. We had a great time. That said, the air conditioning and wi-fi don't work, they know they don't work, and they don't seem to care that they don't work. Luckily, neither really affected the trip for us too much, but you should be aware. But with the poor cell coverage, best this be an unplugged trip. »

We were unable to utilize that amenity. We were disappointed to say the least. Reason: We were told by the host that it was a safety hazard. Cleanliness on a scale of one to ten. 6 1/2. «We had a lovely stay at this property! The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and surrounded by many shops and restaurants! The property manager was very helpful when we needed to store our bags before checkin as well as accommodating our need for a late check out! Definitely recommend!»
