The staff was absolutely incredible. Very friendly and prepare very delicious meals. Too bad it was rainy so we could not take advantage of the clear waters during our stay. The road to get there was in pretty bad condition, it’s a dirt road with lots of potholes. The surrounding area was dirty as the sea brings back trash so a walk on the beach ended up being a short one after we left the hotel beachfront.

Muchisimas gracias por tomarte un tiempo y escribir tu experiencia, en Maya Luna nos esforzamos cada dia para qye ustedes, nuestros queridos huespedes lo pasen de lo mejor, desafortunadamente el camino de terraceria aunque es corto si es un poco molesto por los baches, pero al situarnos en area protegida, debemos cuidar el medio ambiente y no es posible pavimentarlo, debemos conservarlo solo con tierra para la adecuada absorcion del agua, esperamos verles muy pronto nuevamente, nos encantara recibirlos!!!

Nature et calme
Endroit paradisiaque, malheureusement les sargasses qui sévissent dans la région ont un peu gâché le panorama mais ce n'est évidemment pas de la faute de l'hôtel, qui s'intègre parfaitement dans le paysage. Le personnel est top et le restaurant parfait (je recommande le poulet cuit au coeur d'un ananas).

Great place to stay if you want a quiet place with a room close to the ocean. Most rooms have patios with hammocks as well as roof top decks. Hosts are very nice and the overall service is very good.

Muchas gracias a Buba por ser un excelente anfitrión, es un hotel muy bien ubicado frente a la playa pero como nos sugieren se disfruta más de noviembre a febrero cuando no hay sargazo La comida y el servicio son lo mejor del hotel

el lugar es muy tranquilo y exclusivo, la atención del dueño es muy buena. Lo único es que está un poco retirado de la parte más turística, como a 10 minutos en coche, si lo que buscas es aislarte es ideal.

Beautiful view in rustic bungalow ,quiet and serene , Bubba and staff bend over backwards to make sure you have anything you need, food was amazing!!!!really enjoyed ourselves!

Too far from town. Wi-fi barely existing because they turned ir off.It feels more like camping. If you like camping, this place is for you. Make sure that you pack Off or mosquitos will have a plan for you.

We are very sorry that the stay at Maya Luna was so disappointing. The location of our hotel is in the heart of nature and close to mangrove forests. That is why all our bungalows on the beach are completely protected with mosquito nets. After heavy rainfall, in this case caused by various storms and hurricanes in the area, mosquitoes are present in much greater numbers than usual. Our hotel is 3 km south of the village of Mahahual, approximately 8 minutes by car on a dirt road. Many of our guests choose us for that, their own bungalow on a private beach, away from the noise of the village, and wake up to the sound of the waves and birds. Wifi is available 24 hours a day around the main building and on the beach, but we depend on the service of the provider, in our case telcel. Unfortunately, the signal is not strong enough inside the bungalows. It is a pity that the guests did not express their disappointment during their stay, then we could have done something to make the stay a bit more pleasant.

Un lugar maravilloso! Prácticamente con playa privada! Cuentan con kayaks y tuvimos la suerte de ver delfines muy cerca de nosotros. La comida es muy buena y está a tan solo unos 4 km del centro, de preferencia llevar coche o simplemente quedarse ahí todo el tiempo, ya que está increíble! También conocimos a Ajax, un perro adorable!

Súper buena ubicación y bungalow!!! Desafortunado hay mucho sargazo y afecta la estancia, sin embargo es un excelente hotel para todos los eco lovers. Hay gran playa en el centro, cerro sargazo, y sobre saliente la atención de Carolina, dueña del lugar. Slds!!!

Si vous cherchez un endroit calme, authentique, nature, sur la plage, avec tout le confort nécessaire, je vous recommande fortement Maya Luna! Sans compter la cuisine de produits de la mer, langouste, poissons grillés, crevettes, absolument délicieuse.

Excellent place to stay in Mahahual!
Maya Luna is a lovely place to stay in Mahahual. Our cabana was super comfortable, the food was really great and we enjoyed meeting the owners and staff. We went on a wonderful snorkeling trip in a sailing catamaran with Luis who owns the dive shop next door. It

Great food, comfy bed, dog friendly
We had a lovely stay here, and so did our little chihuahua mix. The staff is friendly and fun, and everyone including the owners took great care of us. We were there for 2 weeks and spent the majority of our time hanging out onsite. We ate most of their menu and I can honestly say 90% of the food is excellent (fresh ingredients, complex/complimentary flavors). The queen bed was comfortable and our door was about 50 ft from the water (amazing). Our dog had a blast in the sand. Couple things to note, no a/c at night (solar power) and the decor is bare bones. Still, we had fun there and also exploring the area (Bacalar, wow!). Overall Maya Luna is a great experience for the price.
