What an amazing property! (This review is based solely on the hogan. We did not use the bunkhouse)This is a rustic yet sturdy building, unlike the yurt-feel I was expecting. It has a really good feel to it. Clean for high desert. So many windows with great views! Cozy yet spacious enough for our family of 3. My husband, our adult son with disabilities, and I quickly settled into the space. Everything is so well appointed. Furnishings fit both utility and style. Well stocked. Plenty of outlets. The views are stunning, especially the sunrise over the mountains. The night sky here is magnificent! I highly recommend spending some time in the chairs on the porch. The king bed is high quality, firm yet soft top. The comfy couch was a very landing spot after exploring each day. Kitchen is intuitive with great appliances. The bathroom is small but not cramped. Single shower stall with great water pressure. Toilet with bidet was a bonus. There is a step down (approx 2-3" high) from both entrances as well as a slight step up (approx 1" high) to the area where the king size bed is. Our son who walks on his knees when not using his wheelchair was able to navigate these easily.Excellent communication, easy check-in, peaceful, overall an easy stay. Great for off-roading, ghost towns, secluded retreat, VLA, wildlife. If it were my place: Longer curtains in a soft rust color, more pillows, allergen covers on pillows, replace couch pillows, fix deadbolts to operate more easily.
