The Ocean Point House is a private 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home that is situated on the shores of Little Kennebec Bay in Roque Bluffs, Maine. Located in the quiet, private community of Duck Cove, the Ocean Point House has the catbird seat of this part of the coast with spectacular elevated water views that guests will marvel at their whole vacation. The Ocean Point House accommodates 6 guests with its 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The house is laid out in a comfortable and inviting manner, with the living room with gas log fireplace, dining area and well-appointed kitchen with coffee bar as well as 3 guest bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the main level. Just down the hall from the kitchen renters will find the laundry area and the center piece of this house - its large ocean view sunroom. This space is perfect for spending breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just relaxing with friends and family while admiring the ocean scenery. The house also features a wonderful water view great room with living room, dining area and open kitchen. The water view living room is a comfortable spot for reading or quiet conversation friends and family. Large windows that span the front of the house provide renters with fantastic views of the ocean, local lobstermen pulling in their traps, and the ever changing scenery.
Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the main level. Two bedrooms – one with a queen bed and the other with twin bunk bed – share one of the full bathrooms. The third bedroom, offers a queen bed and ensuite full bathroom.
The lower level of the house boasts a spacious family room with Smart TV as well as a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. Large windows in the lower level serve to let in the sunshine and provide gorgeous views of the ocean. Guests sleeping on this level with be rewarded with ocean views right from your bed. This house is located on nature’s front porch and the outdoor opportunities here are endless. If you’re an observer who likes to soak up the awe of nature or a doer who prefers to experience it – you’re in the right place! If you’re a kayaker, the point is a perfect location to start off your ocean excursion to explore the bay and surrounding islands. The Ocean Point House offers an electric pulley system for lowering your kayaks to the shore and drawing them back up the banking after paddling and exploring the bay. Wonderful area guided sea kayak tours are also available or the local kayaking company will deliver rental kayaks right to your door.
