The Space:

Tucked away among the eucalyptus trees in a peaceful, leafy enclave just off Mt Macedon Road, this distinctive retreat seamlessly blends natural elements with modern comforts, offering a unique and authentic home-away-from-home experience.



The split-level layout invites easy, open-plan living, featuring a well-equipped fully renovated kitchen with a contemporary touch, complete with a marble natural stone breakfast bar, retro style Smeg fridge, integrated dishwasher, and garden-framed views. The lower level boasts an inviting meals area with Oak floors and wood fire, a cosy TV room complete with cocktail bar, a luxurious bedroom with ample storage, and a stylish bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry.



Upstairs, two charming bedrooms with pitched ceilings provide versatility for your group, complemented by a comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower and bath. Enjoy comfort throughout the seasons with split system heating/cooling in each of the bedrooms, and luxurious linens and soft furnishings, allowing for ultimate rest and relaxation.



The vine-draped front porch overlooks a sprawling front garden with mature trees and luscious green grass, while the private back garden, adorned with new stone landscaping, offers an ideal space for relaxation in the outdoor bathtub or entertaining around the fire pit and family activities with our life-sized '4 in a row', 'brick tower' and 'bag toss' outdoor games.



Despite its captivating wilderness ambiance, the property remains within walking distance to the Macedon township, catering to both nature enthusiasts and those looking to explore the local sites of the gorgeous Macedon community. This timber cottage is truly one of a kind, exuding character, quality and charm to all those who choose to call Norsu Cabin home.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We are now in the Fire Danger Period, which may begin as early as October and extend through to May, depending on conditions. CFA restrictions are in force, and no open flames are permitted at any time. This includes fire pits, wood-burning fireplaces, and any internal or external fires—these are strictly not allowed and form a firm house rule. All properties are equipped with safe alternative heating options for your comfort, and during this period we do not supply wood or kindling.
