Nice view from the restaurant.
The lobby was very nice, and the restaurant had a great view over the river. My room was a bit shabby and worn down. Nice breakfast.

STAY AWAY !
This hotel really does not deserve more than 2 stars. For that price one should expect not to shower directly on a plastic floor behind a flimsy plastic curtain. The ventilation is really bad and the decor is really 1980. Great if you love brown and beige. Sofitel might have been a good business hotel 20 years ago, but these days, GO ELSEWHERE. You will be frustrated. When I told the receptionist about my feelings she smiled and said "I'm sorry".

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt i Lyon med gåavstand til restauranter,flotte butikker og severdigheter.

Meget bra beliggenhet og førsteklasses hotell
Hotell Sofitel Lyon Bellecour har en meget bra beliggenhet i Lyon på en halvøy mellom Saone og Rhone. Det er gåavstad til gamlebyen, og metrosystemet ligger i umiddelbar nærhet. Hotell er førsteklasses med meget vennlig og profesjonell service. Bar og frokostsal har en fantastisk utsikt fra toppen av hotellet. Vi var meget fornøyd med vårt opphold på dette hotellet.

Sentralt beliggende midt i hjertet av Lyon.
Perfekt beliggenhet, god service, lekker morgenbuffet og fra spisesalen i 8.etage fantastisk utsikt til elven Rhone og store deler av Lyon.Hotellet fungerte som en ypperlig base for vårt 3 dagers kongressopphold i Lyon. Deilig rom, spesielt høy kvalitet på sengetøy og madrass.Kan anbefales.

Sofitel Lyon Bellecour
Moderne og meget bra forretningshotell . Utmerket service. De parkerte / leverte bilen nesten uten at vi merket det. Sentralt i byen dersom man ikke vil bo i den eldste bydelen. Rom mot gaten og elv uten at støy var generende, dvs godt isolerte rom. Litt trangt rom for mange store kofferter.

Faded rose. The property shows wear on every surface. We had the largest suite whixh was huge. The bedding and linens were excellent. Every surface was scratched.nthe carpets were worn and the bathroom(s) tiles were outmoded and cracked. The tvs were small with no connectivity. The spa was underwhelming with a decent steam room and a walking shower that was not impressive. Gym was decent. Did not try the restaurant but no way does this currently deserve the 5 starsnit got decades ago. Staff was quite nice and helpful.

The staff went above and beyond to help us on our vacation. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great!

Almost perfect hotel in perfect location!
Really recommend this hotel. Perfect location in Lyon, Valet parking (€30/night). Lovely lobby and entrance, meeting 5 star expectations. Very friendly, capable and professional staff too! Location was as good as we could expect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, with clean and comfortable rooms. Our only constructive criticism would be that the rooms feel a little tired (4 star standard) but it is obvious that Sofitel plan to address this, based on the incredible refurbished lobby. Furthermore, complimentary minibar (water, soft drinks and nuts) more than made-up for this. I will stay here again on our next trip to Lyon.

Der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön, aber wenn man im 4.Stock aus dem Aufzug steigt, glaubt man nicht mehr sich in einem 5 Sterne Hotel zu befinden. Das Zimmer ist eingerichtet wie in den 60er Jahren und entsprechend abgenutzt. Ein ekliger fleckiger Teppich, das Badezimmer ebenfalls alt mit ekligen Fliesenfugen und einer schlecht funktionierenden Dusche. Man zahlt eine Menge Geld und würde in jedem modernen 2 Sterne Hotel billiger und nicht schlechter wohnen. Und einen Ausschlag am Rücken habe ich als "Souvenir"mitgenommen.
