Perfekt beliggenhet
Vi skulle unne oss litt ekstra luksus og booket to netter på dette hotellet. Det var perfekt plassert i lyon, med gangavstand til det meste. Frokosten hadde mindre utvalg enn vi er vant til fra norske gode frokosthoteller, men det utvalget som var var svært godt. Vi savnet ingenting. Ved ankomst var det noe forveksling knyttet til hva slags pakke vi hadde bestilt, men det ordnet seg så snart vi kunne vise reservasjonsnummeret. Et stort pluss var at vi fikk dagsbillett på kollektivtransport inkludert taubanen opp til Notre-Dame-De-Fourviere. Vi opplevde imidlertid et lite minus på servicen når vi ved endt oppholdt stresset spør om de kan ordne med taxi til oss, noe hun da gjør ved å ta opp telefonen og stille seg i en lang telefonkø. Etter et minutt eller to stakk samboeren hodet ut døra og fant taxiholdeplass med ledige taxier ti meter unna, noe som fikk oss til å tenke at betjeningen kun var ut etter tips. Vi er ikke helt sikre på hva det er som gjør dette hotellet så dyrt. Det er plettfritt på de fleste måter, og har god plassering, men det er ikke så mye ekstra ut over det. Mulig vi ikke fikk sett alle fasilitetene i løpet av de to nettene vi var der. Vi var tross alt ikke i byen for å være på hotellet. Hvis du har råd og ønsker å bo i en perfekt beliggenhet er det absolutt ikke noe galt med dette hotellet. Men jeg tror det finnes billigere alternativ som er like bra.

Perfect location, modern decor
It was my second stay at this hotel. It is ideally placed, within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, shops, and the morning marked, It takes about 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the old part of the city. The rooms are quite small, but the bed is comfortable, modern, and clean. The bathroom is quite recently refurbished, and comfortable as well, with good lightning. The reception stuff is helpful and accessible. You have to take a taxi from the TGV station, and be sure to give the driver the address, and not just the name of the hotel, as there are several Mercure hotels in the city.

Flott opphold
Flott hotell som ligger midt i sentrum med shopping og restauranter like om hjørnet. Fine rom og god service! Litt enkel frokost som koster forholdsvis mye. Ellers ingenting å utsette på servicen og hotellet. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

Beautiful hotel, excellent and helpful staff (especially Camilla), very large room (privilege room is worth the upgrade). Close to old city and everything we wanted to see. Unfortunately the noise in the street and square was almost unbearable with noise until 3:00am (cars, motorcycles, scooters, yelling - all being loud as possible). Saturday night it went on until 5:00am. The windows were thick and sealed out most of the sound but the air conditioning was inadequate so we had to open the windows.

Very central hotel with super convenient parking! You are steps away from everything. The staff are very kind and helpful: they helped us make a reservation for an authentic Lyon bouchon restaurant that was one of the best meals of our entire trip! The room is well-sized: only drawback is that the heat is central so the thermostat in the room may not be adjustable depending on the season. Breakfast is quite nice (fresh orange juice station!) but pricey. All in all, lovely hotel.

Besser kann man bei einem Lyon-Aufenthalt kaum wohnen. Genau in der Mitte - sowohl zwischen den Flüssen als auch auf der Nord-Süd-Achse. Damit alles Interessante zu Fuß erreichbar. Rundherum viele Shopping- und Gastronomiemöglichkeiten. Das Hotel selbst recht ruhig mit gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und recht großem Bad sowie freundlichem Service.

Personnel à la réception très sympathique ! Mais qui ne peut pas compenser une literie désastreuse. - Literie: matelas durs, drap housse qui ne tiennent pas en place, lit 1 place très étroit. - La dernière rénovation doit commencer à dater, le mobilier de salle de bain fatigue, les peintures et portes aussi. - Salle de bain et toilettes très exigus - Le premier soir, le gel douche / shampoing de la douche était vide. Le second soir, il avait été remplacé par du savon pour les mains.

Exceptional service from Elise and Mila. I lost my bag on a train and they both showed a lot of perseverance and patience trying to help me contact SCNF lost property. Mila also showed ingenuity to find where our river cruise boat was moored. Both deserve the highest commendation. A third lady recommended a restaurant for us that we enjoyed so much we ate there three days in a row. The breakfast was very good and a good price. The location is excellent.

Hotel is in a great neighborhood and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large for France, but pretty basic, and air conditioning is weak. Breakfast area is very cramped and items were not always restocked. A good hotel, but not a great one.

A good 4-star hotel, well located but on a busy road. Rooms on the courtyard have a very close view to other rooms. Breakfast is good but the breakfast room is very small and not well organised. When all tables are full, guests are told to come back later.

Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast was ok, room and shower were nice. AC did not work very well. Room was very hot.

Fantastic hotel to stay at! Located right in the centre across from the main fountain, 3 min walk to LV, so many amazing delicious restaurants nearby, we couldn’t eat enough!! Staff were friendly. The room was fantastic. We had the corner room which had balconies overlooking the fountain. It was a sight to wake up to. The vibe along the street was just buzzing! Bathroom & room itself very clean. Nice quality products. Room size was spacious and really good as we have a toddler. Highly recommend staying here!
