Eldre sentrumsnært hotel
Et svært enkelt, noe slitt hotel. Men rendt og ordentlig. Hyggelig engelskspåklig betjening. Når jeg reiser er jeg på jakt etter et enkelt, rent og sikkert hotel, med dusj og toalett på rommet. Resten er ikke viktig for meg. Når så hotellet er billigm og ligger midt i smørøyet i Lyon, da er det perfekt. For de som ønsker mer luksus, er dette ikke noe for dem.

The Hotel Bayard Bellecour is a lovely, well appointed hotel that is so convenient to everything you want to see in Lyon. The front desk clerk was so charming, pleasant and helpful. The room was elegant however a bit dark. It transports you to an earlier, more elegant time. There is a rotary dial that still works, crystal glasses and small touches. The breakfast was pricey but lovely. Lots of different cakes, breads and selection of yogurts, fruit, cheese and sliced meats.

highly recommend
exceptional place! we were upgraded to the prestigious room and surprised with cakes and cookies because it was our honeymoon. reception staff were always pleasant and helpful, every single one of them! beds and pillows were a tad soft so some may wake with a little ache, but it was huge! also, perhaps the items were vintage, i found myself itching a little in the room (im highly allergic to dust so you may not have the same problem). still, i love the decor of the room and how it faces the wonderful bellcour. last thing to note, as much as the tub was aesthetically pleasing (and great for soaks), it was a little stressful when we showered because water tend to splash out and wet the whole floor. so if it’s any issue for you, choose the other rooms with showers instead.

Effectivement, nous ne possédons pas encore de licence pour pouvoir servir des boissons alcoolisées à nos clients mais nos services évoluent au fil du temps et cela pourrait très bien changer d'ici votre prochain séjour. You need to stay at this hotel.
Situated near Place Bellevour in Lyon. Hotel situated on First floor and above. We had a a baroque decorated room. Lot of space and great bathroom. The decoration in this hotel is amazing. From the old pictures of Lyon to the deco in the breakfast room. So nice. Good breakfast home made food. Its missing fresh fruit on the breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 1 night but will stay again for sure.

Hotel Bayard Bellecour is full of character and spotlessly clean. The quietly efficient staff were welcoming and friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious, plentiful and served in a beautiful room. The hotel is perfectly situated (very central so most sights are walkable) with a metro station very close. If you like shiny-floored, soulless, corporate hotels - don't stay here. If you want to stay somewhere a bit different and full of quiet charm, I recommend this beautiful hotel!

I absolutely loved Hotel Bayard. It is a very unique and charming boutique hotel with exquisite, old world style. I had a private bathroom (including the toilet). The entry to get to the reception area is unique and charming, as well. But, you must walk up a full flight of stairs with your bags to get to the registration/reception area. The windows open to let fresh air in. The air conditioning was not as strong as I would prefer, but that seems common in France. I had a great experience at Hotel Bayard.

This is a fabulous hotel. Our room had fantastic views over the main square (Bellecour) and across to Fourviere hill with the cathedral. Metro station, shops and many places to dine close by. Has amazing decor and wonderfully comfortable beds. Our room had a standalone bath and a TV that you could hide from view. A great option for exploring an exciting city.

The room was very dark, and cramped due to its layout. the staff was lovely and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent. There was no elevator, which made carrying the luggage quite a challenge!

Beautiful Quaint Hotel in City Center
I really loved this place. I loved the traditional French decore and although it had a historic vibe, everything was clean and modern at the same time. It is in a perfect location. The parking garage is just 5 minutes (it is a bit tricky to find because the Lyon traffic patterns are crazy). The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic. I thought my breakfast was included but it wasn't so make sure you clarify!

Hotel was a excellent place to stay in Old Town Lyon, with great access to the Metro. The room was nicely kept and well appointed and were very clean. We stayed here twice, in two different rooms. We like them both but neither are well situated for a disabled person, but was not a problem for us. Room 4 had a very nice walk-in shower, but room 2 had a very deep bathtub and no shower which was a bit difficult to get in and out of if you aren't agile. We will certainly consider staying here again on our next trip to Lyon.

Väldigt trevligt hotell med fint läge vid Place Bellecour med det mesta på gångavstånd. Hotelrummet var väldigt trevligt inrett och personalen var trevlig. Väldigt prisvär hotell.

Property was in a good location and the staff was very friendly. There was no one there in the morning when we tried to leave however. The air conditioning was poor. We asked for a fan and they provided one and that helped. They didn't serve breakfast early enough for us to enjoy it.
