I'll start with a review of the house. It is new and clean with plenty of space. Very nice visually. The beds are memory foam and much harder than we would prefer. The bunk bed has a sign that says you must be 16 years or older to use the top bunk. It is most likely due to the fact that the mattress is taller than the sides of the bunk so you can literally roll right off. Not very useful if you expected a child to be able to sleep there.Everything is on motion sensors so when you leave, the porch lights go off and you'll come back to a dark house. Even worse is the air conditioning/heat. It constantly sets back to 66 degrees if it doesn't sense movement so that house is always cold. It is a heat pump so takes a long time to get back to a reasonable temperature. There is a fireplace but it is only decorative.The worst part was our experience with the hosts. We were charged multiple, excessive fees after we checked out which we now have to dispute with VRBO. The host also has cameras at the house that were not disclosed in the listing and they actually recorded us which is illegal. I have stayed at over 20 VRBO properties and have never had an experience like this so I would suggest to stay away from this property/host.
