«Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon.»

«Hotel location was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent.
The room was comfortable and clean but the walls are thin so you can hear adjoining TVs and voices. It's worth packing some earplugs if you like an earlyish bed time.»

«The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. Unfortunately the Roman blinds at the windows you couldn’t open and close which doesn’t ...

«Very lovely couple running the Town House!
Was greeted by a lovely Lily at the door (their dog)!
Would recommend calling them just before you get there as it can be difficult to find a parking space on the road
Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of cereals and toast»
