Central hotel in Luxor but needs renovations
Stayed for 2 nights in Luxor, the room was fine and comfortable but the bathroom is so old and had mold on the door. Shower area had no door so bathroom floor is wet. Food was not good, breakfast and Italian restaurant below average. Had to wait a while to check in cos reception couldn’t find our booking. Would not stay here again. Definitely not 5 star

Perfect hotel in Luxor.
I stayed here for 3nights. The mist helpful and kind staff. The reception, housekeeping, restaurant (Ahmed, special thanks to you), at the pool and the Guest Relations Manager. If there was anything i needed, they helped. Thank you all for making my stay perfect. I will come back, promise. I highly recommend this hotel in Luxor. Beautiful hotel, they have everything there.

A good place to stay
I travel to Luxor on a regular basis, and I've been a guest at this hotel since the opening. The rooms are spacious and if you choose a superior room with Nile view, the balcony is perfect. I like it here.

Steigenberger - Luxor -
I have no problem to recommend this hotel. Hotel is on the high street (or is it Hotel street???) in Luxor. Was in Luxor for business, but stayed on for a few extra days. The hotel rooms have three different views (street, internal patio and Nile view) Luxor temple is within walking distance but you will be interrupted by cab drivers /horse carriages if you attempt to walk. Hotel can arrange various sightseeing tours if you have nothing arranged. Very friendly staff at the various restaurants I tried and also in the reception. Hotel has a good sized pool close to the Nile with sun deck and pool restaurant. Limited garden or greenery (garden is sun deck, some palms and flowers though). Several restaurants with very reasonable prized meals (at least by Western standards) and friendly staff. Rooms are large, clean and decent furnished. Good beds and baths. Flat screens with several english and other language channels. Sofa and chairs in my room were some years old and of the "representative type" adored in the Middle East.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff and great base for exploring Luxor from. The Nile view room was superb and loved the fact we could take a sunset boat ride directly from the hotel :)

Hotel is a beautiful art deco buildling next to the Nile. Room was clean and stylish, and the restaurants had better than average food, the lebanese restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend for Luxor's east bank location is great for museums and attractions.

The property is beautiful and clean, nice shops, the restaurant food is excellent and very good. We had better dining experiences in the hotel than outside the hotel. The pool is great and pool service is excellent. Great Spa services, too. The evening lounge with the two gals playing the instruments sets a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay here! Only wished we could have stayed longer. The food was wonderful and the property was very picturesque overlooking the Nile. However, as soon as you try to walk outside the front entrance you will be bombarded by people wanting to sell you things or asking if you want a taxi…and they are very persistent.

Cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Comfort: 5/5 Noise: 4/5 Overall: A good pick for comfort! The extended review... Cleanliness: 5/5 - Clean bedding and towels. Service: 5/5 - Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is pretty diverse and tasty. There are a number of restaurants on the property and a pool which was nice to lounge around. There is also evening entertainment. Comfort: 5/5 - Mattresses were comfy and it made my stay here worthwhile because I was sick. Noise: 4/5 - It wasn’t super noisy but we also were facing the atrium and you can hear a little bit of echoing.

The hotel is very nice, the staff very professional and friendly. The location of the property in front of the Nile is outstanding. I would suggest performing some maintenance o replacing some old equipments at the Gym. Also, to keep the access to the tennis court closed or indicainting that it is an area under renovation, the thing is that I decided to visit the tennis court with my wife just to show her the multiple facilities and views that the hotel has, unfortunately when we entered the tennis court, we were shocked with the condition of that area of the hotel. The breakfast was amazing.

Amazing location.
Great hotel on the Nile Bank. Very impressive hotel, with very helpful staff. No airport shuttle, listing is not correct. Patio doors and windows facing the dining and entertainment area of the hotel do not seal so don't do a great job of sound proofing. Breakfast was very good, wide selection.

Family of 4. The property is really pretty. Its a smaller hotel but that was a good think. The service and hospitality made it seem like a boutique property. The hotel is right on the nile and offers help with temple tours and excursions so you can turn your brain off and dont have to prebpom anything. Its a short walk to Luxor temple but we warned that once you leave the sanctuary of the hotel youre going to get bombarded with hagglers. Food and really delicious and reasonable so you can dine on the property and have lots of reat options. Con: outdated bathrooms. Rooms are really nice but bathrooms need to be upgraded.

très bel hôtel, avec un service de belle qualité ; le restau libanais est top ! et le restau Italien tellement sympa : notre petit fils de 8 ans a pu faire sa propre pizza ! on peut prendre ce qu'on veut et sans culpabiliser pour le gaspillage : les portions sont petites et suffisantes pour "tester". A nice experience
A very well equipped hotel with nice restaurants and bar, and also a swimming pool. Somehow it’s quite difficult to find some nice restaurants in Luxor though it’s a touristique spot, so I’m happy that I can find some good food here. There’s live music every night in the courtyard, surprisingly. The staff are friendly too.

I really enjoyed my stay here- great location and staff really excellent. The front desk, room service and pool staff were really friendly and efficient. The entertainment in the courtyard was nice wi the two Egyptian women, one on violin; one on sax which was interesting and tasteful. Great place all around!

Perfect hotel. I'll stay again.
The bile view room was fantastic. Quiet, clean, comfortable and relaxing. The staff were professional and everyone spoke good English. The restaurants were all great and also good value compared to the UK. Breakfast was a paid extra but worth it as the buffet and chefs were top class.
