Det var altfor varmt på hotellrommet. Det lot seg ikke gjøre å senke temperaturen, selv om det var regulator på veggen (denne funket ikke) Jeg ga beskjed til personalet i resepsjonen, men ingenting skjedde. I tillegg var hørføneren på badet veldig dårlig. Ellers var hotellrommet ok, bra renhold, fint bad ( men det rant vann ut på nesten hele badegulvet når man dusjet)

Plain hotel, clean, 15 min walking to city centre. The staff didn´t inform us that the breakfast was extra (15 euro per person per day), they only said the breakfast times when we checked in so we assumed it was included.

Flott hotell i fine omgivelser.
Trivelig hotell i sentrum av trivelige Luxemburg. Hotellet ligger i hyggelig område med masse spisesteder. Stille og rolige omgivelser. Hotellet har ikke egen parkering, men det er lett å finne god parkering i nærområdet. Enkel og effektiv sjekk inn.

Greit hotell litt utenfor sentrum
Greit hotell men ligger litt utenfor sentrum. Tar ca. 10-15 minutter å gå til de fleste restauranter og barer. Koster rundt 15 euro med taxi fra togstasjon. Dyr frokost (15 euro).

Bra hotell - ikke forhåndsbetalt
Hotellet har veldig bra beliggenhet - det er enkelt å komme seg til sentrum til fots herfra. Rommene er romslige til et BeNeLux-hotell å være, og man får en ørliten velkomstgave på senga. Badet er også stort til å være på disse trakter, og dusjen er heldigvis en slik der man ikke må tørke gulvet etterpå fordi dusjen er åpen / ikke tett. Det jeg mislikte sterkt med dette hotellet og som gjør at jeg ikke anbefaler det til andre, er at betalinga ikke ble gjennomført samtidig med reservasjonen / bestillinga. For meg er det en uting.

Sentralt hotell med endel støy
Tivoli nær gjorde at det var mye støy. Bra rom m passe temperatur i annexet, andre snakket om at de hadde det for varmt og at airconditionen ikke virket.

Good stay
Very good location just a short walk from the city center and a few meters from the tram stop. Clean, rooms on the small side, good breakfast. Only problem, the room was too warm.

Nice and easy
Large room and bathroom, bed and pillows were too hard for me. Room was warm, but no view if you were in the back. Great location and easy parking access.

Great accessibility by public transport and foot. Close to a nice park to get outside for some fresh air. In the annex, hallways can be noisy and echoing and there is no view and limited light from the room I had, but it was functional for what I needed. (And they made an effort to make it more appealing with a mural… fun touch!) Appreciated having a kettle and very small fridge. Gym is small and basic, but again, had what I really needed. Everything was clean and housekeeping was very good. For the price, I was satisfied!

Deeply Unpleasant
Booked as it seemed a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel, and while not in the centre, only a ten minute walk away. The reality is after checking in, I had to cross the busy road to the "annexe" building... I guess this was once a different hotel that Best Western have purchased. The room was very old fashioned - think 70's style wood furniture. I was not impressed to find a clump of the previous occupants hair on the floor (tiled, so easy to clean). The bed was tiny (single), the aircon unit gurgled all night, and the building was noisy with other people on the stairwell coming in after what was obviously a great night for them... so much so that I had to ask them to be quiet. Breakfast was very average, with the cleaner literally cleaning around people with some disgusting looking rag stinking of industrial disinfectant. Honestly it's hard to see where the 4 stars have come from - maybe 25 years ago they qualified. However, the standard is poor and felt more like a good effort in an economically deprived country than a 4 star in an economic centre of Europe. Cheap for a reason - best avoided.

We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with our Hotel. Your happiness is our number one priority. We have different rooms for different budget and we try our best to please everyone to have an oprrunity to stay in a 4 star hotel.As you can see you choosed a classic single room (bed one person) in the annex building, everything thing is written. Next time give a try to superior rooms or junior suite at off course a different rate. Best regards,

Luxembourg Great but expensive
It was an excellent stay at the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is clean and bedroom clean - cleaners do a great job. It’s only 10 minute walk to the main centre with the shops and restaurants- not far at all. My only complaint is the noise from the street. Without shutting your window you will get an early wake up call but the air con in the room is great. The area is also really nice with the university close by and beautiful gardens.

Staff is always very friendly and ready to assist in any way they can regarding any issues you may face, even if it has nothing to do with your stay at the hotel. Breakfast is awesome, lots of variety and is very well attended by the staff to be sure it is always full and clean the area several times per hour. Rooms are clean and typical of a European hotel room. There is a small bar downstairs and chairs/tables where you can hold a meeting with another person. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisier than the ones on the other side of the building. There is a gym downstairs and also a sauna but did not try either. The hotel is well located for a transfer between the train station and the airport. Lots of buses going around and the tram stops is less than fifty meters. Lots of dining options around the hotel.

Easy access by tram from central station, or by bus (16) from airport. Lots of food venues to pick from (Japanese, French, Italian, etc). It is a small hotel so less chances to get noisy. I had a room with view on the streets so you can hear the traffic and the people from the street. I am staying again at that hotel in a week and will request a room not giving on the street and will see if it makes a difference. Breakfast is great with a wide variety of choices. The breakfast area is refresh constantly with new items and cleaned on a regular basis. The size of the rooms are typical for a European hotel. Only one elevator which, during check in/out can get really busy especially when you're on the top floor. Front desk is slow both for check in and check out so give yourself plenty time when checking out, especially if you have a taxi or a train/flight to catch.

Wonderful Hotel
My one-night stay at Best Western Plus Grand Hotel was excellent. Customer service was outstanding-I had an issue with turning on the heat and the front desk lady crossed the street and came to my room to turn it on. The room had everything I needed including a hot water kettle to make coffee or tea. Everything was quite clean especially the bathroom-loved their shower. It is quite easy to get from the central train station to the hotel-take the Tram1 and it will leave you across the street from the hotel. Taxis are quite expensive as I learned the hard way-25 euros for a ride from the train station to the hotel, which was about 1.4 miles or about 5 stops on the tram.
