I am appalled that you call our rooms “barracks”. We just renovated these rooms. As for the few amenities, every room has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and kitchenware, which is way more than any other accommodation in our area and more than most other hotels in North America. Especially in winter, we cannot afford to keep staff 24/7, however, we provide 2 different phone numbers that you can call if you need anything. We have not received any calls from you about the issues you mentioned in your review. I am not sure why you take pleasure to kick a decent small business to the curb for no reason.

I am really sad and appalled to read your comments. During check in we provide our site staff’s phone number because we have several separate buildings and a 10 acre property. If you need anything, shortest way is to call the staff on site, rather than walking back to the front office. I am not sure why this made “you feel like we just want to take your money”. Also to make check out faster, we have a key drop box (similar to all hotels around the world) so you do not have to wait if you are leaving early and front office is still closed. This is simply for convenience of our guests.
