Harbor Village Update: The indoor pool, hot tub and fitness area are open and included with your stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub are open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Guests are required to review and adhere to the facility rules posted on-site. Importantly, there can be no alcohol or food at the pool facilities.

Ideally located first floor condo in Harbor Village. This waterfront unit is perfect for a couple's romantic getaway or a small family vacation. Right next to the pools and overlooking the beautiful marina, it doesn't get any better than this!

* Fresh updates for 2024-2025 include new painting throughout and custom sailboat stained glass windows. New WALK-IN shower (tub/shower combo removed).

AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air, gas fireplace, board games, electric grill, hairdryer and deck. Smart TV with streaming apps, DVD/Blu-ray player and WIFI is included.

The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. and a keurig coffee maker is available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include dishwasher, icemaker and toaster. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, iron/ironing board, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.

LOCATION: Harbor Village is one of Michigan’s finest waterfront resort communities, located in the heart of Manistee at the Lake Michigan shoreline, and is ideal for a waterfront family vacation. Onsite amenities include indoor pool and spa, seasonal outdoor pool and spa, deep-water marina and playground. This main floor condo is located right next door to the pools and less than half a mile from sandy 5th Avenue Lake Michigan Beach and North Pier Lighthouse. It’s about a mile to downtown Manistee.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.

ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.

DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.

Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.

For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. Please contact us if there are any questions or concerns.

I would have given 5 stars but the condo was lacking the extra star. We would have loved a television in the bedroom and a stacked washer and dryer. We were there for 6 days and really missed having the ability to wash while there. There is no public laundry at the facility even though there is a marina. Also, given how close to the beach a couple of beach chairs, umbrella and a small cooler would have been nice.

Beautiful condo and view

We had a wonderful stay in Harbor Village. The condo was lovely and well kept. The pools weee beautiful and the location was an easy walk to the beach and downtown. Five star summer in Manistee!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at Brook Harbor. We are a family of 4 with two parents and two kids (4 and 2). This condo was very clean, efficient, and in a great location. It had just enough space for all of us. Two parents and a 4 year old fit in the main bed and we brought a pack and play for our 2 year old that also fit in the bedroom. We loved the proximity to the harbor, the pools, and the playground. The fenced in playground area was so wonderful for our little kids; they loved it and we loved it was safe for them as it is right next to the water. Also being so close to Man Made Lake as a huge bonus. My 4 year old and I went rock hunting and had a blast. We saw several deer on the property as well. Downtown was just a short drive and it’s a super cute area. Our only hiccup was the shower. It worked perfectly for my husband and me, but bathing two little kids in it was not a good time. However, that’s an us problem, not an issue with the property. We would definitely return. My daughter (4) said her favorite part was “everything,” but especially the 3ft area of the pools where she could touch.

Awesome location

We had a wonderful stay. We did a puzzle, watched movies. Sleeping Bear Dunes was only an hour away. Ludington was only 30 minutes.

Quaint and beautiful getaway

The property was beautiful, the condo is the perfect size for a small family or couple. Has all the necessities and comfort of a home. There is an incredible indoor pool and hot tub, a large outdoor pool (that was a bit cold) and the 5th street beach and concession is a short walk or car ride away! The view of your back deck looks out at the harbor, the kids loved looking for fish every morning and the playground is a 3 min walk around the harbor. If you have kids sleeping on the pull-out sofa, plan to bring a foam cushion if you can.

Location location location

We loved the location. It’s a short walk to a beautiful beach and beautiful pier. It’s also just a couple minute drive to downtown. It was our first stay in Manistee and we would definitely come back to the same area. It was such a nice surprise. We also love the fireplace. The outside lanai was very cute and lovely to have coffee or tea in the morning. I’m not sure that the bed was a queen as advertised. I think it was a full-size. We have stayed at so many rentals and I just felt like this one was lacking some TLC. I understand a property management company runs it instead of a person and that’s could be why it’s missing that kind of personal touch. Some examples are the WiFi is terrible, and there are no instructions for the tv, No racks for luggage, no Kleenex, dirty sponges (no clean sponges for the dishes). There’s a bunch of clocks, but none of them are set correctly. And the batteries are dead in them. Again, these are all small things. We would definitely stay again. I just wanted to provide some suggestions.

Wonderful amenities

This is a small condo but very clean and close to the indoor and outdoor pools. Great hot tub! Half a mile down the road is a Sandy beach on Lake Michigan! Very nice summer rental.

Amazing location

Great stay for our Michigan adventure - We ventured up to Leland (Fishtown), Frankfort, Arcadia and down to Ludington & Muskegon. We went to Traverse City for a day trip. We also hit Grand Haven, Holland and Saugatuk. Home base in Manistee was perfect. We enjoyed the downtown and the beautiful beach & sunsets. We will be back! Thank YOU!

Summer 2023

Beautiful location. Lovely little condo. The trash was still in the can when we got there and the freezer had some residue on it which I was able to wipe out, but otherwise clean. Pillows all need to be replaced. They are worn out and smell a little. It would be helpful to put some sheer covering over the top windows in the main room for those who sleep on the pull out bed. We enjoyed our stay.
