The staff was supportive, but the condition of the room was completely unacceptable and frankly alarming. We checked in and immediately found that the bed was visibly stained through the linens, the shower was covered in mold, and there was trash and what appeared to be someone’s fake fingernail under the edge of the bed. Every flat surface in the room was covered in dust, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned in a long time.
Given the state of the room, we felt it was unsanitary and unsafe to stay and left immediately to book accommodations elsewhere.
When we requested a refund for our three-night stay, no manager was available on site. The front desk staff stated they could not reach a manager, and even Expedia was unable to get in contact with anyone authorized to approve the refund. As of now, we have not heard from a manager and have not received a refund, despite the room being clearly uninhabitable.
This experience was unacceptable and reflects a serious failure in basic cleanliness, oversight, and customer service. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here and expect prompt resolution and refund for charges incurred for a room that could not be used.
