«Beautiful restoration of an older home. Very comfortably decorated. Great communication from the owners, and I loved that they stock milk and OJ in the fridge along with cereal and coffee. Lots of board games to play. WiFi is decent and was good enough to stream a movie, though apparently it can be spotty (nothing abnormal for the mountains). Cell service was ok with VZ. The property grounds are great. Unfortunately, we had a cold snap with snow, so we didn’t get to spend as much time outside ...

«My wife and I spent a weekend at this awesome Chalet. It is situated on a prestine meadows overlooking the mountain. It has enough accommodation at least 6. «This is a peaceful place to stay! The porch by the waterfall was a great place to land after a long hike! The waterfall can be heard in the house which was wonderful for us. The single bathroom required planning with four of us staying, but we knew that going in. The inside furniture was minimalistic and the couch was worn. Check-in was easy, but there were no instructions on check out, such as stripping the beds, garbage, etc. I emailed the owner to see about guidance, but never heard back. «We enjoyed our stay here very much. The cabin is on a hill and has great views of the surrounding area. It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. The cabin is well equipped, check-in is easy, and the owners respond quickly if you have any questions.»
