We were a bit nervous in getting a one bedroomed apartment but this place did not disappoint. Large main room, big bedroom, good sized kitchen, and both the en-suite and shower room were good sizes too, with lots of storage throughout, and good facilities (as listed).The balcony might seem small but when you have the roof terrace to enjoy, this isn't an issue at all as there's still lots of room to sit out and enjoy the view. In terms of locations, this property means you get the best of Quarteira and Vilamoura. Both are in easy walking distance, with cafe's, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, close by. Electrics are a bit "quirky" - just be conscious of what is plugged in when, especially if travelling from the UK, and expecting things to behave in the same way they do at home.There was some building work close by (our visit was Dec 2025 - Jan 2026), but this caused very little noise or disturbance whilst we were there. Looking forward to seeing the outcome on the Passeio!We sadly had some very bad weather that caused some problems for us but by staying in touch with the host Varna, we managed to resolve these.We'd recommend this if you want somewhere close enough to facilitates to enjoy things but quiet enough to have a lazy day watching the world go by.
