Girl on the desk was very unfriendly, didn't welcome us as we checked in, was very miserable .lobby looked dirty, windows dirty, lots of homeless outside hotel. Wouldn't stay there again.

Kat at the check in was very welcoming and friendly. She greeted us with a smile which is what all should expect at check in. We knew we were going to have a great stay. The restaurant and the bar on the 8th floor was a great space to hang out with family. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

Not what I expected from a Hilton hotel. Very disappointing. Not worth the price. As we were walking in from the garage, a huge rat crossed our path. Not a very good first impression. The homelessness is out of control and were allowed to hang out in the lobby. My husband was nearly mugged on the way to the CVS. Housekeeping staff were loud and did not service our room once during our stay. Needed to ask for towels, toilet paper, and soap. No working coffee machine in the lobby. Receptionist didn’t want to get off her ass to assist. Breakfast sucked. Burnt bacon, frozen waffles were served and undercooked eggs and then had the nerve to charge $20 for something I could have made better at home. One waitress to cover a lot of people. Naturally she forgot about us. Couldn’t go anywhere bc everything is boarded up & run by the homeless who were all high & dangerous. Never again.

Very nice place to stay. We were in town for concert at the Louisville Palace which was a very short walk from our room. Highly recommend this location.

Check in is at 3p, was there at 235p. Told it would be after 3p before I could check in. Ask for them to call when room was ready, no call. Came back and I had reserved a 2 bed room, no more left, my buddy said he would sleep on pullout bed. Went to room, door would not open, 2nd time Kat from desk went to door, still would not open. She said wait here I will send someone back, after 10 min, went back to desk, kat was helping someone else. Got another room, air unit made a very loud screeching sound, went back, told no more rooms available. Had to sleep with no air, luckily, it was not to cold that night.

We have stayed at this location a couple of times and have had wonderful experiences each time. Excellent location for walking to eateries, clubs, and venues. The cost for a room is comparable. This last experience was less than desirable. We waited in line for over 40 minutes to check in. There was only one desk attendant as the other one was helping the short-staffed cleaning crew. After the extensive wait, we were told our room wasn’t ready-mind you this was two and a half hours after advertised check in time. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for a key. Upon arriving to our room, we found there was no hand soap in the bathroom. I walked out into the hallway and asked a gentleman who was watching videos on his phone instead of helping the two young cleaning ladies for some soap. He and one of the gals searched two cleaning carts as well as the supply room for a bar of soap only to not find a single bar. This was a less than desirable experience.

We arrived at the property and our reservation thru expedia was no where to be found. Luckily they were able to still accommodate us. We get to the room and it smelled like campfire. Even with the crappy ac unit the smell never cleared out. I left the next morning with a sore throat and mild cough. However, the rooftop bar and bartenders were delightful

Perfect location for events at Mercury Ballroom!
It was the perfect location. I only stayed 1 night to attend an event at the Mercury Ballroom, which was right next door. I also have Gold status with Hilton Hotels, so I try to choose that brand for my stays when I can.
