Guest Access:
Entry to the building is by key fob, with an elevator ride up to your floor upon arrival. The apartment is fitted with a Yale smart lock keypad for self check-in, using a code unique to your stay that deactivates once you check out, for extra security and peace of mind.
At check-in, you'll gain entry to the building through a call box, then retrieve your key fob from a lockbox located inside.
All access codes are sent out 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled arrival.

The Neighborhood:
The location is unbeatable - just steps away from the iconic Louisville Palace and Mercury Ballroom, where you can catch some of the best live music acts in the region. Plus, you're within walking distance to Fourth Street Live, an entertainment district filled with bars, restaurants, and shops.

And that's not all - you're less than a mile from Whiskey Row, where you can sample some of Kentucky's finest bourbons and soak up the city's rich history. A few blocks further, you'll find the trendy neighborhoods of NuLu and Butchertown, both packed with art galleries, cafes, and boutiques

Getting Around:
We're in the historic Henry Clay Building at 604 S 3rd St, in the heart of downtown Louisville.

Access the building by turning into the Clay Commons Parking Garage entrance, just past the Hilton on Chestnut St. There is a loading zone to your left past the Hilton valet before you enter the gates to the public garage, with a large Henry Clay sign to the right of wooden doors-- feel free to park in front of the doors with flashers on while you follow the check-in instructions and unload your luggage.

We offer paid onsite parking to guests for $15/night. You'll have access to the secure garage directly underneath the building, where you can access the building and take the elevator directly to your floor!

If you've paid for onsite parking, instructions will be included in the check-in instructions in your personalized Boarding Pass.

The Clay Commons Parking Garage at 350 W Chestnut St is another parking option adjacent to the building for $25/night, but there are plenty of other garages or paid street parking in the area.

Other Things to Note:
🔹 Need extra bedding? There's no extra guest fee, and a pull-out sleeper sofa is available on request. Just let us know if you'll be using it, and extra linens, a blanket, and pillows will be waiting in your room at check-in. A $15 per reservation fee covers the added laundry costs for sheets, blankets, and towels.
🔹 Want to arrive early or linger a bit longer on your last morning? We're glad to arrange an early check-in or late checkout if planned ahead of time. Standard check-in starts at 4:00pm, with checkout at 10:00am. A fee of 10% of the nightly rate per hour, minimum $20 per hour, applies to adjust our cleaning team's schedule.

🔹 Please run the dishwasher before departing so the cleaning team isn't left waiting on the cycle during their busy schedule. If the sofa bed was used, leave it pulled out so it can be identified and readied for the next guest. There's no need to strip beds or gather towels, a professional laundry service takes care of all that. Enjoy one last cup of coffee and let the rest be handled for you.
