This beautiful round 440 square foot guest house on riverfront property has every comfort of home and is just a short walk from the river...400 feet from the South Fork of the American River to be exact. Set on the high point of a 5 acre pine and oak-wooded property with views across the river to golden hills. Beautiful native plant landscaping with a flagstone path and patio around the yurt make it a special environment. Campfire area and deck overlooking the river are included extras!

If you have never spent the night in a round structure with a cedar ceiling and a 5 foot skylight, you are in for a treat. Beautiful stained concrete floors add to the ambiance and keep it cool in the summer.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Lotus Coloma Valley. There are over 25 commercial rafting companies waiting to take you down the river if you don't have your own equipment. There is a river shuttle in the summer that takes boaters 10 miles up river or will pick you up 10 miles down river at the Folsom Reservoir take out. It leaves from Camp Lotus, just up the street..... Or stay "home" and just relax and watch the river go by.

Stay within a few minutes of the Marshall Gold Discovery Park and Museum, numerous wineries, and hiking and biking in hundreds of acres of open space. You will have access to the South Fork from this riverside property to put in or take out your raft or kayak or just sit with your feet in the river.

We do allow guests to bring a dog. We do not allow dogs unattended in the yurt unless they are crated. We live in an area of 5 or more acre properties and people do not have fences. There are some neighborhood dogs that do come to visit and are friendly. We request that your dog be on a leash if it is not under your voice control. We ask that you pick up after your dog.
